Great boot, runs a little big.
These boots are high quality, as advertised, and very comfortable. I was worried I'd need an insert since I'm mostly on my feet in these, but so far I have not. They look nice with jeans (skinny and bootcut) which is what I usually wear them with; not too formal, but professional enough for an office/outdoor job. I would not consider these hiking type boots, but they're not advertised as such. My only gripe about these is the sizing - it seems to be pretty liberal and I had to send the first pair I ordered back (a size 8) because it was very loose on my foot. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 depending on the brand, and the 8's in this brand were too big. I then ordered the 7.5 and it works well enough so far, I probably could have ordered a 7 and been perfect as these should have a little stretch to the leather after wearing. I'd suggest going down 1/2 to possibly a full size from your normal shoe. Otherwise, a great boot.Edit: After a couple of months the heel on one of the boots has drastically lost support, and seems to have "gone flat" (best way I can describe it). Part of the sole on the heel (on the outside of the shoe) developed a hole and now any air cell that is in the heel is completely empty, so when I take a step my heel just squishes the sole material. It's not comfortable any more and it's throwing my legs/hips out of alignment causing some pain. I'm hesitant to buy another pair and intend to contact the manufacturer to see what the warranty is on these. Hopefully it's over 90 days because this happened shortly after 90 days of my purchase. If they don't cover this, I'd recommend not buying the shoes since a consumer should be able to expect more than 2-3 months of regular wear on an ~$80 pair of shoes.Edit again: Eastland shoes did a solid and replaced the boots that had the heel defects I described above. They sent me a prepaid return shipping label. I was able to request a smaller size as well for the replacement, and as I suspected a size 7 in the boots fit perfectly (this is down from my usual 7.5 to 8). So far I haven't been wearing them for a couple of weeks with no problems. Five stars restored!

Comfortable, hip looking, leather pull-on boots.
This is my third Eastland leather ankle boot and they’re perfect for me because I can wear them with jeans. I can wear them with slacks. I can wear them with a skirt and tights and I’m 76 so I am not a young kid but they make me look a lot younger and cooler oh, and I am an artist so I guess that makes me cool. They’re durable and rugged and cleanup easily if you wear them to the barn.

These were so comfortable for hours on the first outing
These were so comfortable for hours on the first outing; I wore them Christmas shopping at the mall. I would almost compare the comfort to my running shoes. The longer I wore them the more comfortable they became especially noticeable after trying on boots in the stores, it was like numerous aah moments when I could put them back on. They have decent arch support, fit as expected (I wear 9-1/2 -10w with a high instep and these are a 10m). They feel cushioned and you almost forget you have them on. These are awesome boots!

Disappointed
The base is true to size, and the shoe feels comfortable. However, the boots don't look like leather; they look like plastic. They're narrow at the ankle and feel like they could cause blisters with wear.

Perfect Booties
Very comfortable, attractive bootie. I was surprised it fit so well, since I have problem feet (bunions), which make it hard to find shoes that don't pinch my toes. Perfect height heel, good grip on soles, even on ice. Love the high top, since I'm quite tall, and my ankles are exposed in slacks. This pair of booties made my winter much more comfortable.

Good solid boots
Comfortable insole, failry light boot for such a solid construction. Smooth leather but not overly flexible (ie it is a hard leather) so I guess it will retain its shape well. I have only worn them indoors just to try them on so far! Overall quite pleased with them, but maybe prefer a softer leather around the opening of the boot so that it feels more comfortable-especially if you're wearing stockings or shorter socks that don't go above the boot height.

Started out great now one heel seems to be breaking down.
I purchased these less than two months ago and loved them immediately. The fit is true to size, the footbed very comfortable. I treated them with mink oil and have been wearing them in salt and snow with no problem. However, a few weeks in the left heel started to feel much less solid than the right and this has only increased. It is now to the point where it makes my foot feel unsteady in the boot. Perhaps it is a defective pair as it's only happening in one but it feels as though there is nothing solid in the left heel at all, that it is just filled with air. Very disappointing as these were initially so great.
