I wanted a pair of sneaker type shoes to walk in. I am disabled so shoes with laces are very difficult for me to wear. When I saw these for a terrific sale price, I thought they might do the trick. And they absolutely do. Very comfortable, easy to get on and off, I love the zipper instead of laces, I love that there's no tongue, and I love that they look good. The size range is outstanding. Finding half-sizes after size 10 is often difficult. These had them. Plus there are so many widths - narrow, regular, wide, and extra-wide. I recommended them to my best friend who has difficulty finding narrow shoes, especially in sneakers, and she loves them, too. Other reviewers said to buy a half-size larger. I did and they fit perfectly. The only thing I would change is to have a little more cushioning with a little more arch support. And that was easy enough to fix by buying an insert. Now they are perfect. I hope they are still being made when these need to be replaced. I am very happy with these shoes!3 months later... I still like the shoes, but would not buy them again. For the past 6 weeks, the zipper has not been staying up. The shoes shoes almost fall off my feet. In fact, I tripped one time when they were loose. I wanted to add this because I was so enthusiastic about them originally, but now I can't recommend them at all.

Comfortable, fit well and look better than most sneakers. As an older woman (ahem), I appreciate the zipper closure rather than laces. They stay put and I never have to worry about laces coming untied. I bought them for traveling overseas. They were light to pack, immediately comfortable for hours of walking and looked sleek and stylish with black pants. They were not very warm for Eastern European November chill so buy large enough to wear with heavier socks. Also, they don't have as much support or thicker sole compared with older East Spirit walking shoes for walking on cobblestones. However, I recommend completely.

Great shoe!
I love these shoes. I had ordered these from Easy Spirit and the 'tongue' on those was thick and clumsy when zipped up. I ordered the sz 8, my normal size, but they were too big so when ordering from Amazon i went with sz 7.5. Perfect! These don't have the tongue and are so comfortable. As a side note, don't purchase from Easy Spirit online. Customer Service is terrible. I'm still trying to get my refund for the return.Plus the prices are better on Amazon.

Get Rid of The Nubs !
Shoes are lovely. Bought to wear as house shoes. Perfect fit. HOWEVER....the foot bed has lots of nubs which i guess are supposed to massage the sole . No. my feet are super sensitive and these nubs are very irritating. I have worn Easy Spirit since the pump dress shoe came out but I cannot wear these.
