No way to tighten straps

I thought these were going to great wedges, but the elastic straps on these shoes was so long that they did not hold the shoes on. I am not sure if the large chipboard inserts stretched the shoes out. The shoes look nice and fit width wise. Unfortunately they did not have a replacement available to try another pair of these shoes.

Just-okay espadrilles that are overpriced

I have high expectations for shoes that cost upwards of $70-80 and while these espadrilles are pleasant-looking, they were somewhat uncomfortable as soon as I put them on. I assumed that investing in Easy Spirits meant instant cloud-like comfort but the heel strap is very stiff, and the elastic cross straps yank it forward to make it rub against my ankle. They are the correct size and I’m sure they will break in with time but again, if i pay almost $80 for plain shoes I expect instant comfort. The shoes also are a big clunky when walking and this seems unnecessary because I have had plenty of $20 wedges and espadrilles that walk smoothly and dont announce that a Clydesdale horse is arriving. But on a positive note they are okay-looking. However, I cant justify spending such money on “just-okay” shoes when there are so many better options out there. Lesson learned.

Back of shoe does not stay on

These shoes are cute and might be comfortable. However, the backs of the shoes were too big and would not stay on when I tried to walk in them. The back of the shoe would just lift off and there is no way to adjust for that, so unfortunately, I had to return them.
