Gorgeous, but fit is off

I bought the shoes for a small wedding (no reception or dancing), which just happened a week ago, so return window is closed. I first bought a size up, per some reviews, but the heel stuck out 1/2 inch. I exchabged for my regular size 10M, the fit was better, but still had to use a double, cushy heel pad to take up space and not have the shoe slip off when I walked. Gorgeous shoes, won't wear them again. My feet were KILLING me after only wearing them for 3 hours, mostly sitting. They served the purpose, but my feet paid for it. [caveat: Although they have a sturdy, short stacked heel, I haven't worn more than a slight wedge in 10 years or more, have been retired 8 years, and I wear flats every day. 🤷‍♀️]

Inaccurate sizing.

These shoes are very cute. I bought a size 7.5 wide. When I wore them around house, they were fine. During the 2 hour event I purchased them for, I had problems. The front of shoe was too tight, the heel too loose. Walking was very difficult. I love the shoes, but will be returning them.
