These are my third pair of the same shoes. Great price. Ultra comfortable. I wear every day, 5 days a week, and they last about one year....so then I buy a new pair. Nothing more comfortable than ECCO dress shoes for men. They don't take a polish super well like fine Italian shoes but I care more about comfort than polish.
My feet never felt better! I am a teacher so good shoes are a must. I had been buying JM for years but these shoes are lighter and more comfortable. Still love my JM but for all day wear you can't beat these. Don't know too much about durability yet, I have wore than only for three weeks but so far so good, I even brought a second pair, great product, great price!
I don't even know why I bother trying other brands sometimes. They just don't last as long and are usually far less comfortable than my Ecco's.That's why I keep coming back to them.I love the rubber sole they use now too, since I'm not looking around for the "high heel" sound (that I'm making myself).The Cairo's look great and are a very versatile part of my wardrobe.
I've been wearing this Ecco model for many years now at work and casual wear. Most shoes tend to bother my feet by the end of the day but I can wear these all day without any discomfort. With an occasional shine, they last for quite a while.
I have owned Ecco hiking boots and casual footwear and have always been impressed with the quality and comfort. I needed a new pair of dress shoes so it only made sense to try Ecco for them as well. I have only had them a short time but they certainly fit into to the category of excellent. It is always nice to find a shoe brand that you are confident that when you slip them on you will immediately feel the comfort and quality.I have never before been able to order shoes on-line as it has always been a challenge and fiasco to find ones that fit well and are comfortable. It is so nice knowing that after trying three different lines of shoes in the Ecco family I can now continue to do just that. Their sizing is consistent as is their quality and comfort.Price may seem high but I can tell you as someone who spends many hours a week in dress shoes (standing and walking) there is no substitute for a quality comfortable shoe - Ecco certainly fills that requirement nicely for me!
This Ecco shoe is not the same quality as a the one I bought from Dillards 10 years ago. They look identical in the pictures, but they are a totally different quality shoes. The leather feels a lot cheaper, the seams are weakly double stitched instead of the triple stitch, the inside has been changed from a nice soft leather to a rough thin synthetic, and they do not feel as comfortable. I’m pretty sure these are not a real Ecco shoe and if they are, they are of a different quality than the ones in the department stores. Don’t waist your $, even after 10 years I’m confident my original ones will still outlast these.
These shoes are my husband's favorite -- comfortable and hard working as he is on his feet most of the day touring clients. Our local Macy's and Nordstrom no longer carry this style. Thankfully they are available online and he received them the next day.
