ECCO builds quality footwear. I’m a shoe geek. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’ve had many pairs of ECCO’s, dome over 20 years. I’m a shoe geek, and I had my eye on this orange color for a while. If you see something you want, watch for price fluctuation s, and buy when the time is right. These went up $48 bucks since ai pulled the trigger?! You could hear the ECCO from me hollering when I saw the price increase, and I celebrated my great buy! 😎

Quick wearing sole :-(

I bought these shoes because I have similar Eccos that have lasted over five years now and still going strong. Sadly, the quality didn't extend to this pair. Quite contrarily, the quality of the outer sole for this pair is absolutely subpar and so soft that it started showing substantial wear after only 2 months. The wear would show by "fraying" on the edge, which I trimmed quickly only to show again after another couple of months. While I can easily continue to trim, the sole itself is thinning and I doubt I'll get more than a year out of these shoes, if even.I would file a warranty claim, but I would have to send them on my dime without prior approval of the claim, and given it's not technically a defect but just poor design, I won't take my chances.I reached out to Ecco on Social Media (evidently the only channel to reach them), to no avail.This has been a huge disappointment and I can't stress enough not to buy this shoes if you want the quality I expect from a shoe at this price point.

Beautiful & Comfortable Shoe, Sized Too Large

I started with size 11, the size i wear with every other shoe I own, but it was too long, so I tried a 10.5 and then a 10. 10 fit like a glove. I love the look of these shoes, the color, and the leather. I carefully inspected these shoes when they arrived; they were perfect. The pebbly leather looks great and is quite thick. I think this shoe will wear well. My only complaint is the shoe sizing issue. I don’t believe it’s my issue since I’ve seen others complain about it. Otherwise this is a 5 star review.

Great, well constructed shoe. A bit pricey, but for the quality a great shoe. Only negative is the sole insert. Purchase a nice aftermarket and you'll be good to go. I have received many compliments on the look. I am on my feet 12-16 hours a day with no issues. Break-in was easy. Size a bit on large side Great shoe, definitely the quality of the Ecco brand.
