I liked the usual Ecco comfort and lightness. Also liked the roomier toe section. The shoe seems smaller than usual though. I am normally a size 42 Ecco but it way too small. Fortunately I was able to exchange for one size large to 43 and fits perfectly. The finish is matte making it great for business casual and weekends. I did walk in heavy rain for about 10 minutes and the shoes did fine, nice dry feet!

Since 2012, I have purchased four pairs of Ecco boots. I must say, the workmanship and beauty of these shoes have not in any way declined over the years. The fit might be just a tiny bit under what I expected, but they are breaking in nicely, which is not to imply that much breaking in is needed. They were comfortable out of the box. I love these shoes! Always have! Still have the ones from 8 years ago, too. :)
Very stylish and comfortable at the first wear. Usually takes a few days to break a boot in but these were ready to wear and looked and felt like an expensive shoe.

These Ecco chukka boots are very comfortable and I like the pebble grain leather look. The sizing is consistent for me like all other Ecco shoes - I wear a 9 - 9.5 in most shoes, but in Ecco I wear a 42, which they classify as 8 - 8.5. The boots are a little less formal than some I have had, but that is not a problem.Chukka boots are usually easier to get on compared to others because they are pretty low cut for a boot. These chukkas take longer to put on than I like. I have to loosen the laces at the top two sets of holes to make enough space to get my slender foot in. They have one of my shoe pet peeves - a pull strap in back that is too short to be useful.
