The best Ecco shoe in years!
These are wonderful shoes, so wonderful that I bought a second pair to have for when the first wears out. (For the sake of transparency, I bought both pairs during the recent Prime Days, so essentially I got two for the price of one). I have long been a fan of Ecco shoes. One reason is that the sizing is accurate. I can always order the same size, not matter the model, and the fit is correct. The same goes for this model. One really nice feature, however, is the ample width of the forefoot area. My toes don’t feel like they are being wedged into a slightly too narrow space. The shoes are light and comfortable, and the insole is nicely padded. The shoes are not promoted as being waterproof, so I will assume that they aren’t, even though they appear to be able to handle some rough use. The outer, upper parts of the shoe are made with leather. The soles are made with a lightweight, strongly grooved synthetic material that promises good grip in slippery terrain. All things considered, this shoe looks like it will be comfortable and durable for quite some time. I think this is the best shoe model that Ecco has produced in years!

Nice shoe but runs large
Meets the Ecco standard for quality shoe. I ordered my usual Ecco size and the pair I have feels about a half size large. I replaced the indoor with Superfeet insole (as I do with every shoe I own) and double sock it. Work ok after that.

I finally made a great choice
I love these. Just got them and used in a 2 mile hike. Comfortable and fit my feet well. I like a little extra support in the ankle and these deliver. My foot is a bit wide but these fit perfectly.

Great for Hiking
Perfect fit for my slightly narrow size 13 foot. I hiked the forest of Whidbey Island on my first wearing and could not have been more pleased. My socks remained dry, no blisters or foot fatigue. They are very light weight (for a size 13) and you don't feel like you are wearing "Herman Munster" shoes. Great find!

Couldn't work through "bump" inside one of the shoes
I love ECCO shoes. I have several pairs of different styles. I like them because they look good and fit me well. However, for some reason I had an issue with these, or more specifically the left shoe. I bought them 6 months ago and immediately felt a sensation of a rounded bump in the arch of my left foot (the right shoe is perfectly fine). I figured that in time it would even out, but after wearing them many times, the discomfort never went away. Hate to say it, but they got to go! I regret not returning them after I bought them.

Excellent quality and design -- runs a bit large
Most of my shoes are ECCOs because of the excellent fit and quality, and I wanted and ECCO hiking shoe that would look decent enough to keep on at work.- I tried the ECCO Men's Ultra Terrain Waterproof Low Hiking Shoe, but it looks too much like a sneaker, and also has slightly smaller toe area than others.- I tried the ECCO Men's Mx Low Sneaker, but it's not solid enough for hiking and the sole material is slippery.- I tried the Ecco Men's Track II Low waterproof outdoor hiking shoe. It's very good and solid, but a little heavy and not really a hiking shoes design.The ECCO Men's Offroad Cruiser is just right: solid, excellent tread on the sole, and reasonably light. It's stiff enough for some real hiking. And looks decent enough to take to the office. Two things to be aware of:- it runs slightly larger, larger than any other ECCOs I have. It's the toe area that's large, and so a smaller size wouldn't work for me. It's not bad, but means that there's plenty of room for thick hiking socks.- The laces don't slide easily in the shoes, which means that it's a little challenging to slide my foot into.Another excellent ECCO!
