Love These Comfortable Waterproof Boots
I LOVE these waterproof Ecco boots so much I ordered a second pair. They fit a bit smaller than Ecco shoes usually do, so I take a size 44 in these, rather than my usual size 43 in Ecco. After wearing a few times, they are incredibly comfortable, even walking around all day. The style is Chukka, which is a classic shoe style that never gets old. They are also waterproof, which makes them perfect for a rainy climate or travel. Like most Ecco shoes, you have to wear them often to prevent the soles from breaking down, but these boots are a great, rugged yet comfortable daily shoe.

Black dye transferred onto my pants after one wear
I was really disappointed with these shoes. After wearing them once for just a few hours, the black dye from the leather rubbed off onto the hem of my light-colored pants. The stains are quite visible and very difficult to remove, even after washing and treating the fabric.For a new pair of leather shoes, I expect the color to be properly fixed. This kind of color transfer should not happen with normal use. It makes me question the quality control and finishing of the leather.If you plan to wear these with light pants or socks, I would be very careful. I wish I had tested them with a cloth at home before wearing them outside, because now one of my favorite pants is damaged.I’m not satisfied with this purchase and will think twice before buying shoes from this brand again.

Nice fit with soft leather.
I wear a size 11 and these boots are 11 to 11.5. It does have that extra half inch the toes. I do like the soft leather where it’s easy on the ankles. It’s snugs around the ankles and comfortable. I figured with wear it will take shape for a better fit. It’s good for those with wide feet.

I had these boots a few years back and was very happy with them. Now I needed waterproof boots for our wet winter so I was happy to see that they were still being sold. I just wore them for the first time in the rain and was very disappointed to see when I took them off that water seeped in all around the toes!
