Problem feet welcome!
I have problem feet , the least of which being very arthritic. That said, I’ve always wanted to wear sandals, particularly the trendier ones like Teva and Chaco, but have never had a comfortable experience, quite to the contrary. So, while accompanying my daughter to a shoe store, I tried a pair of these, as she’s always had success with her ECCO shoes. Sadly, I didn’t get to support our local merchants as these were almost half less on Amazon. I wouldn’t call these sandals as much as an open shoe is more accurate. They offer considerably more cradling of the feet than your basic three strap model and are extremely comfortable and form fitting. They are lightweight and flexible, but offer a great deal of protection and adaptability as you can even cinch the heel as well. Even my sore bunions don’t find much to argue with here, in fact, they’re far more comfortable than my best footwear. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase and hope they don’t discontinue them!

Great! Second pair purchased!
My sister prefers these sandals as they have the best arch support she's been able to locate. Typically she buys them locally, but the department store no longer carries them. Therefore, away to Amazon we went! Their loss, Amazon's gain! Luckily, we found them, for cheaper, and she's delighted to have received them yesterday. These are her second pair in a span of a few years. She finds them extremely comfortable during the entire year as we live in a southern city with moderate to non-existent winters. I haven't seen her wear any other sandal or go to such great lengths to locate another pair as these by ECCO. Definitely a brand people should consider for their footwear needs.So delighted, she asked me to review them for her and include pictures. They don't squeeze her toes or foot and reduce circulation. When she removes them there isn't any evidence of swelling as she tends to encounter with other shoes that cut off the circulation over time. She's worn them all day, fresh pair, without any issue, therefore ECCO doesn't require "breaking in" shoes as other brands have a need of.

More colors please!
I already own these in the warmer color. I ordered another pair, hoping they would look blue, but they look like a totally neutral light gray. I'm returning them, but hoping ECCO will offer more colors in future. Very comfortable walking shoes, like the many others I've owned in this brand. I was looking for light weight and cool, but supportive, shoes for summer, and these are exactly that. Plus, they look better on my feet than I expected!

Good shoes, but doesn't fit like the original Yucatan sandals.
They are good shoes overall and fit well, but I'm concerned about stretching in the future, so I'd say that they are not as good as the original Women's Yucatan (the ECCO Women's Yucatan Sandal Outdoor Sandal).Let me compare them, Yucatan II.Haven't had them long, so far, a loose fit since you can't tighten the back strap (there is none) and the one over the toes is more difficult to tighten. Similar or same sole as the original Yucatan, which is why I gave it so many stars. I am concerned that they may not last as long because if the Yucatan II stretches like the predecessor, then the fit will only get worse. I guess I'll have to update in a couple of years.I had the original Women's Yucatan sandals for about 3+ years. I wore them often, usually with socks for about 1/3 of the day on average I'd say (any less and my arches would fall and my feet would hurt, they did help a lot by having a great sole. Wish they weren't so expensive, (which is why I tried the Yucatan II which was on sale). My original Yucatan sandals finally went into the trash after some considerable stretching, which the straps made up for in its last year, but it was the back strap on the heel that these shoes (the Yucatan II) do not have which made those shoes unwearable when it had stretched beyond a snug Velcro clasping and eventually kept breaking open.I guess time will tell if these shoes, the Yucatan II, will hold up longer than the original Yucatan which is snugger at first and easier to personalize. I paid $100 for these, $30 cheaper than the original Yucatan sandals at the time, so the price was better. I thought that the lack of a back strap would let it hold up longer, but its a different feel than the original Yucatan because of the looseness that makes it feel sort of already broken in. It still has a great sole for bad arches (for me anyway) and nicer colors too. These look better than the 2 colors or more that the original Yucatan comes in. I'd give it 5 stars if it lasts as long as the original, the fit just isn't as good and it's harder to tighten the shoes properly so I doubt that they'll last as long. If I can update it in a few years I will.

Unusually comfortable for a person with sensitive feet
I have a hard time finding shoes that have a soft upper sole, while being supportive. This shoe does not irritate the top of my sensitive feet, and fits my foot like a glove. The sole is firm, but still gives and is breathable. It is true to size. The straps cover a lot more of my foot than what I'm used to, but it does not seem to rub anywhere. The shoe is light weight, but still has a supportive sole. I would recommend this shoe for people with neuropathy or sensitive skin.

Comfortable, Well-Made Sandals
I've owned many pairs of these sandals, so I like the fit. I vacillate between ordering a women's size 40 and 41, as I must be somewhere between those two. The 41's, which this pair is, are a tad looser than I would like, even with the adjustable straps tightened, but I like the length better than the size 40's. No matter which pair I wear, they are comfortable all day long. I wear orthotics, which are attached to the footbed with Velcro, for additional arch support. The sandals last a long time, and I have washed them in the washing machine with good results (except for my all-leather black pair, which I would not wash).
