I love ecco, I know my size, and it fit, but... material is a bit less soft, than I had from a very similar looking previous model - I'm curious, is this because its really hydromax - soooo it would be maybe comfortable with a size up....

Weird sizing, nice leather booties.

I previously had Ecco Bioms in size 8 that fit me like a glove and became one of my favorite pairs of shoes ever.And I am a true size 8. I’ll sometimes grade up to 8.5 for running shoes and thick winter socks but 8 is my size.So I purchased the Ecco Chase Hydromax sneaker in 8-8.5 in the Cayenne Nubuck. The leather on the boots is beautiful - supple yet thick. I liked the style too. But that size was at least an inch too long.So I returned them and ordered the 7-7.5. They arrived and I was impressed with the materials again. The right boot (I am right handed and my right foot leads so it is fractionally larger) fit like a glove. Yes!But then I tried the left boot and it was painfully scrunching my left toes.So, not only is the sizing off between numbered sizing but I received a pair where the left shoe was smaller than the right.So if you don’t mind purchasing and trying you may get a good fit.3 stars for the quality and a deduction of 2 for ridiculous sizing.

Comfy, good quality but color not exact

I was surprised how comfortable this shoe was when I put it on. It fit true to size. I am a size 8.5 or 39 European and got the 39. I was worried about the size as many reviews said the sizing was off. The clay red color was not as vibrant as I expected based on the images online but it is still nice. More muted in person.The shoes did show signs of having been tried on previously but no signs of wear. I have another pair of Eccos I really love and both these and my old ones seem like quality shoes, so I am keeping these.It’s the confortable footbed that really sold me on these after the initial disappointment about the color.
