Fit as expected. I made the mistake of listening to a customer who claimed the shoes run small and had to exchange them for my usual size. Supremely comfortable and the shoe looks great on. Very well made, making for a very happy customer!
Ecco's are without a doubt the best shoes for comfort and great arch support. I have worn this brand since the early 1990s. They are a bit expensive, however, they do not wear out!! Another thing is since that time my feet have not changed however their sizing has. I ware a 39 in European Shoes (an 8). When purchasing Ecco I had to downsize to a 37 (7-7-1/2). Be careful when you order as I order a few pairs of 39s and finally figured out the sizing had changed. You will love these shoes!!! I rarely write reviews but these shoes are in a class all by themselves.
This is a very comfortable shoe with a very cushy footbed with good arch support. I love the streamlined appearance. My only issue is that it runs a little bit large. I normally were a 7.5 and ordered the appropriate Euro size for a 7-71/2, but my foot slides a bit as I walk while wearing an average weight dress sock. I am trying to decide if I should send it back for the next smaller size since I would prefer a more snug fit for activities and fast passed walking. I will try a heavier sock before I decide. The stretch material provides a snug fit across the top of the foot - I have high arches - but it is loose in the toe box and a tad bit long for a 7.5.
These shoes were perfect for waking around London and Paris! They gave plenty of arch support and kept my feet dry. The leather toes dressed up the shoes a bit and made them great for going out at night. I’m awfully glad I purchased them and plan on traveling with them in the future.
These are my new ‘go to’ shoes. I love the sleek style and the arch support makes them comfortable to wear all day. Can be worn with or without socks.
Unexpected problem and disappointment with ECCO I have stretched the shoe to where it will slip on her foot BUT her heel hurts. Could that be caused by the deep impressed ECCO imprint impression stamped into the INSERT . I ordered now the 11 for her which is a better fit. I think this shoe is made a bit small, More like a half size smaller than most ECCO we have purchased. Surely, from my observations, if a woman's ankle is larger than normal, a next size up will be needed to try. We are giving the 10 size to another family member who normally wears a 9 1/2 in most shoes. The snug entrance to this shoe can be a problem!
These shoes are extremely comfortable and help ease a very achy PF. I am on my feet all day at work and these help keep me going. I was hesitant on getting these as i usually get the all leather version of this shoe. But that style was discontinued. I read a lot of good reviews on these and decided to test them out. Im so glad I did, I want to order every color now! Very true to size.
