Made cheaply

These shoes cost $150 and didn't last 6mos before splitting, they are very comfortable but now I can't wear them they look so bad!

Twice disappointed

Ecco shoes fit my feet perfectly, and I simply don't own shoes from other brands. However, these sneakers have disappointed me. I have two pairs, one with Gore-Tex and one without. Both pairs developed the same problem after a month of wear: the sole started to come apart (as shown in the photo). One might think it’s due to my walking style, but the soles came apart on different feet for each model. The return window closed a week ago, which is very unfortunate.

Clearly USED and dirty shoes sold as new

I bought a pair of supposedly "new" shoes for over $90 from the ECCO store. The shoes I received were NOT in an ECCO box, which seemed strange. And when I opened them, the shoes were dirty and clearly used (and well used, not just tried on). I will be returning them immediately. This has never happened to me before.

Great comfy, perfect fit

Love this sneakers, me and my dog walk around 5k daily and they still in good shape, we hike and they perform very good, super comfortable and light. I have them over a year and now I can say that need to put pads coz my heals start hurting after a long walk, but after all the hiking and walking they hold up very well. Defenetly will recommend this shoes for active person. I love them so much that I just got a second pair, black.

Fantastic running shoes, Ecco has done it again!

First off: so incredibly comfortable! I am low-key a bit obsessed with Ecco shoes, and love these running shoes. I tried both the Biom 2.0 and 2.1, and just found these more comfortable, as the 2.0 rubbed where the laces connected to the shoe. These are lightweight and breath fine for my feet. So far the phorene has stayed pretty clean, but I know the white soles of these shoes don't hold up as well. I like that I can both wear them to the gym and go for a hike with these, and look stylish doing it.

Too much support at expense of flexibility

I have been wearing Ecco shoes for 8-9 years. I have bunions on both big toes with L foot torn ligament making it hard to extend my left big toe. Ecco's Womens BIOM FJUEL RACER was like Godsend to me when I first discovered them! With unique bend at the tip of the shoes that accommodate natural curve of the feet, it fit the feet like gloves. The mesh fabrics stretch and allow room for my bunion. Since I wore them, I overcame foot pain that prevented me from walking to be able to walk 2.5-3.5 miles with no pain at all. So I really hate to give low rating for Ecco's shoes. After wearing out two pairs of Biom Fjuels, I couldn't find them any more and wrote to the company. The reps recommended me this shoes that are the most resemblances Fjuel. So I ordered this and another pair of Walking shoes, just in case. Neither shoes fit! They both squeeze my bunion with not enough bend in toebox. These shoes in particular, cause a lot of pain immediately by the hard plastic plates at the base of midfoot. Not only they squeeze so tight the feet couldn't expand as you step down, it was so stiff, forcing the gait to be so unnatural to me. It saddens me that Ecco seems to abandon it's original design that are anatomically correct and accommodating natural gait, natural foot placement during striding, and stepping down. I sincerely hope Ecco hires people who are knowledgeable about ambulatory science, not just designing shoes to be like anybody else's. I had to looked for pre-owned Fjuel on Ebay and luckily, I could find some to cover me for another few years. I could never find any other shoes that accomodate my foot injuries, light weight, and so flexible it was closest thing to walking barefoot. (I owned a few pairs of those five toes shoes that was painful to my bunions too!). I was able to return the shoes and am still waiting for my refunds.

Had to return these (too small)

I really wanted to like these shoes but compared to other Eccos I've bought the sizing on these was much smaller. It Doesn't help that the "liner" that comes up to the ankle is very tight and will rub below your ankle quite a bit.
