Fantastic shoes with feed back for Corporate!
I have been a loyal, ECCO user for at least 10 years. These shoes are marvelous and my only concern is what will happen when that tiny little shoestring breaks. It is not a normal shoestring. The dial on the side is how you tighten it. So I don't know what to say in terms of the reliability of this shoe tightening system. That being said, ECCO always had a very long warranty on material and manufacturing defects. I bought these shoes because I had an issue with my other golf shoes. Old age! I had an issue with my sandals because the velcro disintergrated and my sandal came loose and I tripped. They said that they now only warrantee them for one year. In terms of comfort, they can't be beat. My previous shoes were leather so cleaning them was no big deal and I used the recommended waterproofing. These shoes are different and I cannot find on the ECCO site or on YouTube how to properly clean this particular fabric.Fit:They have now apparently gone to a two insole system to achieve a wider fit. I think this is problematic. You have to remove one of the insoles to get a wider fit. If you don't remove it, it is more difficult to get the shoe on! Width and height are two different things.
