This is a very well made and comfortable shoe, I have to return them because the sizing was just a little too short and in a hiking shoe they need to have some extra room in the front or you will lose toe nails. The size up is too big for me. I wish their sizing had a 6.5 - 7.
One of the best ecco shoes I have ever purchased. Support over heel and foot arch is excellent. Grab well during hill walking. Though bulky looking but very light weight on wearing. I already bought an extra pair of same size.
Ecco fan looking for good walking water proof Ecco shoe. My Keens are worn out. Could not find Keen replacement. Always love Ecco shoes. Finally they are making ecco trail walking. Comfort superior as always.
Great arch support.Slight heel slip.Could use a little more toe box area.Very well made and quality, so should last for many years, I hope.
Can’t wait to take them hiking where it’s expected to rain. These are comfy right out of the box. I did have to size down from 6 to 5 due to slight heel slippage. Overall, seems very well constructed.
Be careful when ordering. I've ordered many shoes from Amazon and didn't notice that these came from Germany and to return them via the USPS would cost $75!! Now I'm stuck with shoes that don't fit.
I was very hesitant to order, but I have known Ecco to be of great quality. After reading all the reviews I decided to order EU size 38, the very same size that I bought my Ecco sneakers less than a month before this purchase.Lengthwise this shoe fits like EU size 40, but with a very narrow toe box, which means that it won't fit anyone with actual size 40 unless they have freakishly narrow feet.I thought it would not be problematic to return, but it has to be sent to Slovakia. The cheapest postage is $57, plus $36 in customs. The seller is willing to cover only $20 of the cost of the return. The price that I paid for the shoes was 99.35.I am disappointed and upset, because I have shoes from the exact same brand and exact same size that fit me perfectly. And now I lost almost a $100 because Ecco messed up the sizing.
