Love these water socks. I but 2 sets every summer. They don't last more than a summer usually but I use them for snorkeling and wearing in the ocean. They are great when you love the beach but hate sand. They offer enough protection I can walk on rocky beaches , hot sand and climb around rocks and cliffs when i'm in the ocean. I also wear them at water parks because im a tender foot and don't like hot pavement or my feet getting torn up by wave pool bottoms.
Great for walking on sand like at the beach or while playing sand volleyball.
the soles are very flimsy I'm keeping them because I CAN'T FIND brown water socks anywhere else.So I put shoe inserts in seems to help,I have other water socks, the soles are not terribly heavy,(they aren't supposed to be),but these are too thin.So if you buy these you'll need inserts otherwise it's like walking over stones etc. barefoot.
For me these are essential to have when I go to the pool. They protect my feet in the shower and they also protect my feet when I’m in the pool itself. I don’t know about the quality because mine wear out quickly, but you must remember that the pool surface is a little bit rough. I buy them because they’re comfortable and affordable. I do not wish to have an accidental slip and these have excellent gripping power.
For the price these are incredibly effective. Would be great to wear at public pools. They are small and compact. The only thing I didn't care for was how the retain water. I can't speak to long time use or durability but I don't see any reason why they would last under appropriate conditions.
Update: I just left the pool, 2nd time wearing these. I'd left a glowing report (below) after my first time wearing them. But now, after the 2nd wearing? ... Well, just look (see photos)!!!😳 ... Returning just under the wire, and now back to the drawing board for a brown. So, nope!_________Initial ReviewI am doing water aerobics at a few local spots 2-3xs a week. I've purchased a few different swimware that I can grab so that my focus is on hitting the water as opposed to what I will wear.These protect the bottom of the feet. They are lightweight and have a good grip. This one is in the color palet of one of my swimsuits. Wore and washed it for the first time this week. I like it.
