Straps not tall enough to go over toes and feet

The straps are not tall enough in the toe area even on XXXL for my husband's feet. If they were slightly taller in the straps to allow his toes and feet through without pain, then these shoes would rate much higher.

Just buy them already

I wear a size 12 men's ew and I can say these fit good. They are a little big in the back and very wide. I order the xl size. These sandals are the meaning of comfort on your feet. They are amazing!!! Will be bieing again once these wear out. These are all I wear around the house. They are very tight at first but once they form to your foot there like taking a walk in the clouds.

L is 25cm/9.75"

I have a pair of setta from this company that I bought at a shop in the Boston area. I recognized the binding around the straw, so I knew I would be getting a familiar product. These are the most comfortable setta I own and I plan to continue buying this brand. I'm extremely happy with this product.

Look great, seemed perfect...but turns out to be poorly constructed junk.

When I received these, I was happy. They were super-tight, as expected, but after wearing them around the house for half an hour, they stretched as they're supposed to, and they fit perfectly. However, after wearing these for about a month or so, the straw footbed has shifted forward slightly on both feet, causing a ridge to form, and I can't figure out how to get these to flatten back out again. In the past, I've had ~$12 zouri that didn't do this at all and lasted for several years. I guess I'm just going to have to wait until those come back in stock in my size, since these are way too expensive to only last a month.EDIT: I just took a closer look at these zouri to see if I could fix them, when I discovered why they did the way they did. The igusa is only glued to the footbed (with some cheap glue that stays tacky but doesn't fully cure, so doesn't do a good job of holding anything down), not sewn. I lifted up the edging material a little bit to see if there was something that could be done with the igusa, and the whole thing just started falling apart. All of the pieces of igusa just started falling out.

Bought these for a costume and figured I'd order some decent ones so after their costume use I could wear them around the house and yard as one would with regular flip-flops.I ordered the XXX-Large and they're the perfect length for my feet (I wear a US men's 12).If you're expecting really comfortable sandals, you'll be disappointed. You have to keep in mind that these are of a very traditional design. There isn't a left or right shoe; on both shoes the thong is at the center. If you've never worn geta or zori before, you're going to feel like your feet are awkwardly off center. It's just how they are, and you've been warned, so don't whine if you don't like it. They're not something you'd want to keep on all day. The straps are somewhat tight but loosen a bit after breaking them in.The quality of the materials is quite good. They're a really great example of what they're supposed to be; just make sure you know what you're buying,

I love zoori. i've worn them for years and years

I love zoori. i've worn them for years and years. I love the feel of the tatami mat under my feet. The wide cloth straps are sturdy but soft and conforms to the shape of your foot very nicely. The surface also dents just enough to conform to the shape of the bottom of your feet too. They will absorb moisture and sweat so I usually get new ones for every summer season. Totally worth it.
