Very Nice Boots
Once upon a time, I woke up one morning thinking to myself, "I need a new pair of shoes." So..... I decided I would solve the problem by combing the internet and purchasing some for casual use.Granting that I wanted a granny boot style, I came upon these shoes, bought them and waited after a lot of internet search. I didn't have to wait very long; on the contrary it even came a little before the estimated delivery margin. The packaging was fine, the shoes are quite beautiful and after having them for a few days I'm still very excited to own them (and I'm not a shoe enthusiast by any means).I wear a size 7 but I saw what was meant when the other reviews say it runs slightly roomier. I probably could've gone down to a 6 1/2 if it were available at the time to get a closer fit but mine still work well. It is still very comfortable. The heel has a wide, low base, very easy to walk in. I also noticed that the sole is on the smooth side as the ridges in it are shallow so be careful regarding that.But generally speaking it is a great boot and I don't really notice any glaring cons about it. Since it's made of man-made materials I don't know how long it'll last with extensive use (eventually I'll buy a real leather pair of this boot type whenever these give out) but if you like this kind of shoe, it is an awesome pair for its price!

Exceedingly Happy with Boots
After months of looking for black victorian styled boots at a low price (Goodwill, Savers, eBay, you name it), I caved and spent some extra money to buy these. I am absolutely thrilled with the style and fit. I'm usually a 7 1/2W for heels and 8M for shoes and boots, and the size I ordered, 8 B(M) Black Pu from Costume SuperCenter, fits wonderfully! Though the boots are labeled 8 when I received them, they definitely run M. The pleather used isn't super shiny and it has a good feel to it; however I can tell it won't last up against the elements. I don't plan to wear these often so I can keep them in nice shape. The laces are adjustable which is great since I have large calves, and the tongue of the boot is sewn to one side so you don't have to deal with it falling down constantly. The shaft is thinly padded and adds extra comfort as well. Overall I'd give these a 4.5/5. A few seams aren't quite aligned, I can see the glue used to adhere the sole to the boot in a few spots, and the boots easily get hot. These are minor nit picky things I've noticed but I'm still VERY pleased with the boots! I'd be happy to buy other available colors if the need arises.

Amazing!!!
I have super wide feet and I was really leary of getting these. When they arrived they looked super narrow and I was instantly chagrined BUT I unlaced them pretty much completely, bent the toe back and forth a few times and tried them on anyways and was shocked how well they fit! They're a bit tight on 1 foot but that's the one that likes to get a bit swollen on top of being wide so I wasn't too surprised. But with the material it's made of, it should losen as I wear them. People mentioned how the toe was too long but I didn't find that to be an issue and they are very easy to walk in and shockingly comfy. Def love these

Cute, comfy and much better than expected
I planned on wearing these only for a short time, but when my old standby character shoes went missing, I was forced into putting these on for the whole 3-day weekend. I can honestly say they were much more comfortable than I expected - I was actually able to walk at the end of Sunday, something I hadn't expected after dancing and standing and more.In my opinion the toes are a little pointy (think wicked witch) but that may just be my style; otherwise these are a solid hit. I did wear thicker socks to try to add a little "coosh" as there is very little insole, but I didn't have any problem with the arch as I have had in other boots. The heel is a moderate height, perfect for a long day, and has a sassy curve.For the price, I would highly recommend these. They aren't leather, and I don't expect them to last forever, but for the occasional outing or event, I think they are well worth the money.

Great purchase. I wasn't sure what to expect because the price was so low and they are pleather. But these shoes are legit comfortable and stylish. They don't look plastic. The material is soft and pliable. The heel is a great height. I love these. I am a size 9, I ordered up. I put in inserts and they are just right. A little loose around the calf, but I wear with pants. They have stretched a little, so maybe a 9 would've been okay to buy. Worth the $30-$40 I found them for. I wear them all day long and no aches or complaints.

First pair of heels I've worn in years!
I love these boots soo much!First off, I don't like heels and wear them maybe once a year, if that. Honestly I think the last time I wore heels was close to three years ago. My ankles turn in so wearing heels is usually a recipe for twisted ankles.This year I wanted to dress up for Halloween ( Deluxe Hooded Robe, Red/black ) with my daughter and realized that it really needed shoes/boots to go with it. After poking around a bit I picked these out, upsized from my 7 1/2W to an 8M and crossed my fingers until they arrived. Boy was I pleased when I tried these on! Not only did they fit comfortably despite my wide feet, but despite there being a zipper on the side the laces actually do come undone with a tongue behind them. My calves are rather thick and I've always had a problem with boot ankles being loose while the calf area was super tight (if it fit at all). Because I was able to loosen the laces these flow with my leg beautifully and are super comfortable. The heels also don't totter and I can walk around in these without feeling like I'm about to fall over and twist an ankle.If you're looking for costume boots for steampunk, Victorian, goth, or Halloween these work. So glad I bought these and might even wear them on a semi-regular basis they are so comfortable.
