THESE shoes are a WOW for me right out of the box, I looked at the construction of the boots, looked for design flaws, and I am happy to report they passed inspection, now the try was another WOW, my regular size fits like a glove. They felt comfortable to walk around in for the trial, looked beautiful, stylish and will definitely use for the purpose I brought them for, October 31st NYC annual Holloween parade.Yes, I am ALSO wearing a black steampunk dress I brought from AmazonI highly recommend these cute boots, hopefully I will be able to wear them for the duration of the parade, approximately 4 hours, I Will bring backup flats just in case. Needless to say the the fitting was on point, quality is good for the price point, the zipper is smooth and easy to use. Totally witchin' !!
These are hilariously nice costume shoes - totally awesome with my witch outfit! I wear a size 8 shoe which is the size I purchased in these and they fit perfect. Let me just say that I did add a Dr Sholls liner which made a huge diff if you would be planning to dance the night away. Without the liner they still fit well but there is no cushioning between your foot and the sole. They have side zippers which I didn't notice before buying which are really nice. I laced mine with the black and purple ribbons together (ribbons included, also an orange and black stripe) and they look super cute. Thanks Ellie for sharing your imagination and know-how to bring us these inexpensive but essential finishing touches!!

Don’t Believe Everything you Read!
So, I went ahead and followed the advice of so many of you and I have to say that advice was 100% ill gotten! DO NOT SIZE DOWN! I cannot stress this enough! The sizes are true to size, (American sizes)! I normally wear a size 9 Women's, and I went ahead and purchased an 8. Bad idea. I couldn’t even get my foot in. I do not have wide or oddly shaped feet, that size is just what it is. 1 size smaller than my foot size. I have started a return and have purchased the size 9. Hopefully that size will suit me well.Other than that, I gave it 4 stars. Would’ve given them 5, but because of the ultra cheap laces they give you; both on the shoe and in the box, (the extras), it totally brings down the value of a seemingly nice and well made shoe. You might just have to spend a little extra and invest in nicer , more suitable laces. Well, unless you’re okay with subpar quality fabric, thrown together to resemble shoe laces.Update 4/23/22: So, I’ve received the size 9s. And I am happy to say that they fit like a glove! Or a really nice pair of comfy shoes 👠. I really love the uniqueness of these shoes and I appreciate it so much more now that THEY ACTUALLY FIT! Go with your gut; do not size down! 😉

Perfect little witch bootie!
Absolutely love these booties. Very comfortable and the perfect finishing touch for my witch outfit.Also comes with extra laces. But caution they DO run a size too big. Purchased a size 9, my regular shoe size and had to return and re-order a size 8. The 8 fits perfectly! Definitely order a size smaller than your regular size.
