Very great work shoe
I had one pair of these that lasted almost three years and I just brought this new pair. They do great for slip resistance and they are comfortable but if you have wide feet they are a bit tight at first. I would recommend these. I also love that they are slip on so you don’t have to touch your work shoes with your hands like shoes with laces which I enjoy. Easy to clean as well.

Painful
I am very disappointed in these shoes that carry the Emril Lagasse name to them. I have owed another type of Emrils and stuck to those every year, and because I can no longer find them I resorted to these! They look great, but the seams on the inside (tongue) of the shoes are not done correctly and they press into the navicular bone causing a lot of pain. Also they are smaller than the standard shoe sizing(and they do not stretch via shoe stretcher).

My barn shoe
When I was looking for a comfortable shoe that I could wear doing barn chores all day long, Two types of shoe came up in my search, nurse shoes and chef shoes. Well I went with the chef shoes. This particular shoe has held up now better than any barn boot that I have bought in the past plus it has such support for my arches in my foot and in general. This shoe is waterproof And has held up amazingly well considering the abuse it takes on my farm. I wear a nine and I ordered the shoe in a nine and it does run a little big. I just wear two pair of socks to keep it from slipping off.

Mediocre shoes for kitchen work
First of, their size runs small. I usually wear a size 8.5 or 9 women so I ordered size 9 the 1st time. They were pretty small and hurts to put on. So I decided to return it then ordered a size 10. The size 10 is way too big, it's a little hard to walk without it trying to come off. I guess you can fix it by putting additional insoles.Second thing is it has no ventilation so at the end of my 13 hour day(2 jobs) in the kitchen, my feet stinks. The good thing about it though is it's comfortable to wear if you have the right size.

Order one size bigger
This is a great shoe. Especially for working in food service. Truly nonslip soles and very durable. The insert is comfortable for long hours of walking/standing. My only issue is the sizes have changed. I bought my first pair almost 2 years ago. After a year, I reordered the same shoe. The replacement is noticeably smaller. I tried to "break it in" thinking it was just new. Big mistake. Near crippling toe pain was the result. I returned these and kept the old ones. I reordered again recently, hopeing it was just a bad shoe. The same problem is still there. Eventually I just bought a larger size. The first pair are women's 12. I had to purchase Men's 11(at a higher cost). The 11's came in and are the exact size as the first shoe I bought. I have pictures of all three shoes. I don't know why they changed the sizes, but as long as you know, it's fine. These are still durable and comfortable work shoes.

Good quality shoes!! Will order again!
These shoes really do stand up with time- good quality- the only thing is, is it’s rough to break them in to wear them- you’ll wanna wear double socks at first as the shoes orginally are pretty hard- will order them again :) I use them every day at work

shortly lived comfort
The Emeril Lagasse Women's Cooper Pro Eva Slip-Resistant Work Shoe is unfortunately a disappointment. While marketed for food service professionals, its design leaves much to be desired. The shoe's shape feels oddly contoured and lacks adequate support, leading to discomfort during prolonged wear. One of the main issues is the lack of sufficient padding at the bottom of the shoe. This absence of cushioning makes each step feel jarring and uncomfortable, especially on hard surfaces typically found in restaurant environments. Additionally, the shoe feels strangely hollow, giving the impression of poor construction and durability.Despite being slip-resistant, which is a crucial feature in a work shoe for food service, the discomfort caused by the ill-fitting design outweighs any benefits. Even with Emeril Lagasse's reputable name attached to the product, it fails to deliver on the promise of comfort and support. In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Emeril Lagasse Women's Cooper Pro Eva Slip-Resistant Work Shoe. Its oddly shaped design, lack of padding, and hollow construction result in a shoe that ultimately causes more discomfort than it alleviates. For those in the food service industry seeking reliable work shoes, it's best to explore other options that prioritize comfort and support.
