Slippers as pure as gold
I am so glad I found these shoes! I recently played Cinderella in a production of "Into the Woods" and the shoes the costumer originally found were too tall to wear for all the running and falling the character does in the show so I volunteered to find my own golden slippers. These ended up being perfect! Not too tall and super sparkly under the stage lights. It even has a hint of silver on the shoe which adds into the lyric sung when my character received her festival outfit "silver and gold throw down on me, I'm off to get my wish".I purchased two pairs (one for my wear and another for prop use when other characters had the shoes) size 7. They were both consistent and fit the same. I do have slightly narrow feet and they tend to get slippery with tights on so I did have a cushioned ball of the foot support on as well as heel grippers on the inside of the shoes to help them stay on my feet with all the movement I had to do. Also most of the shoes pictured show gems all around the shoe but both of my pairs didn't have any of the gems on the inner side of the shoe from the heel seam to the arch seam. The fabric underneath was still sparkly so it didn't look bad at all.

Absolutely no give!!!
There is no give to these adorable shoes. The style was exactly what I was looking for, however I have bunions from working on my feet for 50 years. If you have any flaws on your feet, stay with ballet slippers. I was so disappointed!!!

Not what I expected
