These shoes still look great after a few weeks. I bought these shoes for work, my work causes me to go through shoes too much. These shoes are extremely easy to clean. And they don't get permanent scuffs like leather or shiny tuedo shoes do. They are not uncomfortable and you can always add an insert.Update : THE SHOES LASTED ME ABOUT 4 MONTHS WHICH IS GREAT IN MY LINE OF WORK. I BOUGHT ANOTHER PAIR, AND THEY SEEM TO BE MORE SHAPED AND HARDER MORE DURABLE FIT, AND THE VELVET IS SHORTER AND MORE CLEAN, SHINY. HOWEVER THE BACK DIGS INTO MY HEEL LIKE HELL, NEEDS MORE PADDING BUT YOU CAN USE A BANDAID OR SOMTHING.

A great shoe for formal occasions!
I ordered these shoe for my husband to wear to a black tie event. They looked great with his tuxedo. He said they were very comfortable (he stood in them for over 6 hours). They do run large, though, so I had to return the original order and order a half-size smaller than his usual size. He received many compliments on these shoes. He wore them to an outdoor wedding and the shoes were caked with mud afterwards. The next morning the dried mud was extremely easy to remove from the velvet; it seems the shoes may have been pre-treated. I was expecting to have do a lot of brushing and had actually wondered if I should have ordered patent leather shoes. I was delighted at how easily the dried mud came off the shoes. I didn't have to brush them, instead, the dirt came off with a simply swipe of a cloth. These shoes could also be worn with jeans, or other non-formal pants, to parties, etc. They are great-looking and clean up easily. I highly recommend these shoes - and can't believe the price!

Love these shoes!!!!
Very pleased with this product! Love the way they fit. They look so good on my feet! I wore them with dress socks and with no show socks. I’ve also tried them on in bare feet. Very pleased with the fit. Definitely recommend these! The in-soles are very comfortable as they are cushioned leather. So I was able to stand in them for a full day.

Great shoe but check the sizing
Velvet is great on the shoes and they are semi comfortable. I had to go half a size up but my actual size as too tight and hard to put on. Color is great on the shoes would recommend this over renting them

True to size but it takes some walking for getting the shoes to break in to, because the shoe narrows in on the top part of your feet but once you breaking in the shoe it becomes an all around comfortable shoe, I get compliments at work from Co-workers & client's & when I tell them how much I paid for the shoes there mouth drops!
