I was hoping these would look more like the photo and have an overall white look to them. But the under fabric is actually a nude fabric, and the lace is like an ivory, or creme at best, so the overall look isn't white at all but a pale nude.So the effect just doesn't have the strong contrast that I was hoping for personally, with a cute white lace boot.With that being said - the fit is amazing and the sizing was perfect for me.I'm typically a 9 and the 9 in this boot is a great fit.The heel height is wonderful and so easy to walk in. I feel very stable and supported, they are really well made and even though it's lace on top of another material, they feel durable when they're on.I think these are worth getting for sure but - just know they're not White. It's nude, with an ivory overlay. The ribbon is ivory as well.

Gorgeous shoes!
These lace boots are stunning. Very well made. They are lined around the ankle with (vegan?) leather that is so soft. The zipper is smooth and while not completely concealed blends well. The size chart was a little confusing. Had I followed the chart I would have ordered way too big. Under the size chart it stated to order your usual size, so I did and they fit perfectly. I normally do not wear heels or even narrow toe shoes so for me they did not start out as comfortable but they were very wearable. I think if I was someone who wore heels on a regular basis these would be more comfortable. I have nothing bad to say, I do love these boots and hope I can find more occasions to wear them.

These are cute shoes and seem like they'd be comfortable long-term. But, they run so large that it's hard to really tell how that would play out.The shoes themselves seem to be of good quality and construction. They are very cute, and the lace appearance is clean and nice. Also, the ribbon lacing is fun, especially since that makes it easy to change out for color or style variation. That's a nice addition to a cosplay situation.The biggset issue is sizing. I analyzed the size chart and still got it wrong. I'd recommend at least a half size if not a whole size down.

True to Size, So Cute
These are for my daughter who loves Victorian fashion fell in love with these. She usually wears 5.5 but we upsize to 6 just in case. Well the 6 fits but is it is a bit too roomy for her. The 5.5 would have fit her just fine. So order your normal size.Comfort:She was so surprised how comfortable these booties are! She already has plans to change the laces to try some different chiffon laces for different vibes.The lace on the booties is firmly glued down but they are still delicate, so we have sprayed hers with waterproofing to help with longevity & wear of these booties.

If I were a ghost, this is what I would imagine my footwear to be. Or, that is the fantasy that led me to these shoes. I got these for a costume I've been working on. I was excited because Victorian styled shoes are not the easiest to come by! The thing is, when I opened these I was immediately overtaken by a scary plastic-y smell. When I returned to my senses I was able to look at the shoes, and the first thing I noticed was that the shiny cord trim around the ankle of the boot was already coming undone. I touched it and it unraveled further. Okay.... I can fix that, but recognize that not everybody might be willing or able to do that. But I'm committed so I tried these on.The material is surprisingly thinner and softer than what I'd anticipated. By the photos I thought these might be a bit stiff. They are anything but! The footbed also feels squishy in a way that makes me excited. These should be really comfortable to wear and walk around in.I only wish these boots would hug the center of my foot a bit more. Even laced all the way up, the lack of inward curve in the arch area feels like a dead giveaway as to the quality of craftsmanship - if anything, the area puffs out and looks a bit wild but it's not the hill I'm going to die on.All said: they're not perfect, but I can still make these boots work!
