A “Red Bottom” for Flashy Flight Attendants!
Flight Attendant/Airline Steward here: I was wearing a clunky orthopedic shoe to protect my feet but always felt insecure around the international crews who quite literally look like they’re runway modeling down most concourses, simply because of the “old man” shoes I wore on my feet. I came across these shoes after waiting for the others to give out, and I was ready to sacrifice comfort for style. I am happy to report that not only are these shoes fetching and eye-catching, but comfort-wise, I have not had a single day of pain or discomfort, and that’s saying something given that I work on my feet for a majority of my day and walk across many airports! You do have to break these shoes in, but it is a quick process and they seem to have molded to my foot’s shape and fit perfectly. I have received endless compliments from other coworkers and pilots- the red bottom detail and the gold hardware are such stylish, high-quality features that give a luxurious presentation to these shoes, and for the price point, what more could you ask for? The patent leather shine is always going to make me feel like the star of the show. Also, the complimentary shoe horn that arrives in the box was such a neat and unexpected added tool, and makes slipping on the shoe that much easier. My job is unfortunately going to put these shoes through the wringer, but I am more than happy to continue to replace as needed, because these shoes are a 10/10! My only concern are the laces, as they are made of what I would imagine to be some sort of plastic material, which will not hold up well in the long run in my experiences with similar laces in the past, but I’m not too concerned about it. I would say overall: Money well spent!
