These shoes look exactly as they do in the photos. I've had mine now for about a year. They have held up quite well.I have 2 things that I will share. At first when you purchase these shoes, they will be a little on the stiff side. That will change a little over time. The second is, they run a little big. I recommend ordering at least one size down.

These are the wildest shoes ever
I was looking for some shoes that would really stand out. When I saw these I understood I had finally found them. When the package arrived I was pleased to see the shoes had been wrapped very well to protect them. Look at these shoes, do they look delicate and fragile to you? They certainly did to me. That's why I was so pleased they traveled well and arrived in perfect condition.I had desired these gaudy, over the edge togs for a definite reason. Our office holiday party is coming up. We did not have a holiday party for a couple of years and then when we finally did last year I was taken ill and I had to miss it. This year the party will be at a brewery and they will be doing karaoke. Bear in mind that I have worked for this company for over 30 years and I'm one of the senior people who works there. That's why I wanted these shoes, I work with much younger people and I thought these wild shoes might blow, or, at least inspire, some young minds.It was time to try them on. I wear a size 13 EEE. My feet are large and wide. I ordered these shoes in a size 13. They looked narrow. Due to the design, with all the spikes, I was quite concerned that if I had to exert any force to get the shoes onto my feet that I could potentially damage a shoe, crack off a spike, or whatever. So many spikes but I don't want to break one off. The shoes are really rigid. I put them on very carefully and it wasn't easy. They run small. I could barely get my feet into them. But I did, and they are about as comfortable as one might expect for being such a tight fit. Are they comfortable? Not really, but then I bought them for pure show, for the sheer outrageous gaudiness of them. And they are that.I'll probably only wear them this one time. I am excited about it. They are perfect for what I wanted. Even if they are a bit small for my feet. Buy a size larger if you can.I cannot wait to be styling in these as I do some karaoke for all those gawking youngsters.

Comfortable formal wear
This is a unique pair of black, sparkle-and-spiked formal/leisure shoes constructed of man-made material for the uppers and soles, with leather lining and flat rubber soles (and minimal arch support) . They fit to size (I ordered 9.5 for my normally size 9 feet, and with heavier socks they are perfect).As shoes, they have a very similar feel to the heft, fit and finish of a certain black-and-white checkered competitor's skater slip-ons, and are comfortable to wear.The sparkly base coat and shiny spikes are well-applied and durable but avoid wearing them outdoors -- especially on dirt paths or gravel parking lots because the shoes easily pick up dust and residue. The listing has a "machine wash" recommendation, but fear glitter and spikes might be left in the bottom of my washer and dryer, and note that the tops can best be cleaned with a microfiber cloth and/or a soft brush.The packaging was excellent, as each shoe was individually protected in its own drawstring bag -- and since these shoes most likely will not be worn daily, that is the reason the heavy duty shoebox was constructed for on-shelf permanent storage with a plastic-lined "finger pull" to more easily retrieve the box from the shelf.Overall these are a really well-manufactured pair of shoes that are comfortable enough to be used for different occasions, but probably will be reserved for proms, theater nights, weddings, etc.
