good quality for a fair price..
Cost vs quality..even trade.. Touch large by size.. I just add a thin inersole below the existing (removeable) one.. perfect fit.. 30 min. breakin time.. Yes they are water tight in a few inches of water.. The 8 inch height gives me a touch more angle surport and creates more " overlap" with jeans and boottop..(chainsaw chips)..UPDATE.. Been 4-5 weeks..Still happy with these boots to the point that I bought a second pair..They are an exact match (sizing,etc..) I like to alternate so as I get a good "dry-out"..BTW my budget was $200 for a pair of work boots..I now have two comfortable pair for said budget..

Feel great with no break in required.
I bought these boots to do daily work in. They look and feel great. There was no break in period. They are light enough and comfortable enough to wear all day. The only issue I've had is the tab on the right boot designed to help you put on the boot pulled away from the stitching. I was able to get it repaired at a local leather shop.

Warm and waterproof-holding up very well in an extremely cold and snowy winter
The boots have been great, warm and waterproof as advertised. One of the previous reviews said they ran small, so I ordered a 1/2 size larger, but didn't need to. I have some room so I can wear 2 pairs of socks on those really extreme days, but typically don't, just one heavier pair needed as they have kept my feet toasty on -30 wind chill days. The padding around the ankle makes them comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I have only had them for a couple of months, but still rating them a 5 based on performance to date. I would definitely purchase another pair based on this experience.

There not for below freezing weather
They aren't well insulated they're okay in above freezing weatherBut if you walk in wet snow or it's mid 20s or lower the cold will radiate through to your feet. Today was the first below freezing day.It was twenty four degrees I couldent work out side vary long Tomorrow's gonna be 4 deg in the morning I'll wear the old boots these aren't for fridged temperatures.The positive is there lighter than any ove my other boots.

As good as they said
These boots looked nice right out the box. They were comfortable the first time I put them and work in them all day. I was very impressed with the hooks. They are not cheap or going to bend as other boot I have done. I would recommend these boots to anyone who are on their feet a lot. I did order a half size smaller than I normal do as they recommended and they still fit well.
