LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! The rubber quality, color and style are Awesome! They are not too heavy, and will protect your feet if walking through water. Fits true to size and are comfortable even when wearing socks. These rain/weather boots are a good price compared to others I have looked at, especially for how durable they are.
I ordered the Evercreatures Rain Boots For Women Knee-High Waterproof Boots Garden Shoes, Eggplant Obsession Tall, Purple Rain Boots with Adjustable Buckle to wear for walks on the beach along the Oregon coast as well as during the rainy season in the Pacific Northwest. I've tried other rain boots and the Evercreatures Rain Boots are by far the most comfortable. The boots are easy to take on and off. I wear a size 9, ordered a size 9, and the boots fit perfectly with a pair of socks that are medium thickness. I like the adjustable buckle which allows me to tighten up the top of the boots after I tuck in the legs of my pants. The teal and purple colors together look stylish. It's summer, so I haven't had a chance to try out the boots on a cold rainy winter day. But my feet stay warm and dry when walking in the cold Oregon coast surf.
These fit very well, they can be slightly narrower in the leg than some rainboots, which is something I like about them-- Less rain getting in them, and they feel less clunky--but it can be a little more work to shimy them off. The arch support, of course, is minimal, since it's a rainboot, but I have put Dr. Scholl's gel inserts in them before on days where I knew I'd be wearing them all day, and it helped a lot. This is my 2nd pair of Evercreatures boots; they are a solid go-to. after about 2-3 years, I did get some cracks in my old pair and had to replace them, but that seems to be normal for a lot of rainboots. the gnome design looks exactly like the photo--super fun and makes me smile every time I put them on.
These are the boots I’ve been dreaming of. They’re super waterproof, comfortable and adorable. They’re easy to hose off, which I also enjoy about them. They came w a cute little keychain.
Can't say enough good things about these boots- I chase my 7-year-old wild child all over the tide pools at least once a week and need reliable waterproof shoes. These have good grip, the size is spot on, my feet aren't sliding around and I don't have to wear multiple socks to make them snug. They are adjustable but fit just right the way they came- I'm 5'8" 150 lbs, mid-size calves. Since they can be loosened I don't see how larger calves would be a problem. I hope to get several years out of these things- no way to know that now but I have high hopes based on other reviews. And they're super cute :)
It started to rain and ran to the closet to get my bright red, Banana Republic boots and then remembered I had donated them since they were cracked. I also have wider calves and even before they only perfectly fit. So I searched wide and far on Amazon for bright red rain boots and settled on this red polka dot pair because of1) price2) style3) credibility/brand4) water proofPrice:This pair is cheaper than other brands on Amazon, and I do not have the patience to wait for the perfect pair to go on sale. I would have liked to pay less for the ankle boot, but this pair was cheaper.Style:If they had a plain red I might have gone for that, but these match my Minnie Mouse backpack and hat and can match my bright yellow umbrella.Credibility:I wanted shoes from a brand with a physical address. This company does not have a store front but they have a seemingly credible website. The boots are made in China, but at least they are upfront about it.Waterproofness:Sadly, it is not raining so I cant test them out and maybe I will remember to update this later. It looks OK for construction, not as polished or sturdy as my Banana Republic pair. It’s really just rubber. While I can imagine the rubber tearing, only time will tell. Maybe if you leave them out in the sun or do rubber maintenance.The pair of boots fit comfortably with fuzzy socks, my calf fits fine. There is an adjustable band on the side which has a rubber strap and metal buckle.This might be helpful: my calf is 41 cm with leggings. The boot is 41.2 cm. The boot looks like it can be extended by another 10 cm. So at least for a UK 6, the boot leg width can be 41-51 cm, though it might be possible to stretch the rubber if the calf was larger than 51cm.There is some arch support which reminded me of my last pair of non-Banana Republic ankle boots I wore actually in surgery for HOURS - there was no arch support and my flat feet would be in pain I had to add the fanciest insoles I could find and I would wear fuzzy socks with them too. This pair will be for regular rain wear so I doubt I will be in these for HOURS, but the slight arch is nice and I will try them out without insoles.The soles seem to have nice grip which is important. My perfect size is US 6.5 wide, but I usually wear size US 8-8.5 M for Converse and boots and purchased UK 6/EU39 with some room the tip.The inner lining is just okay. It looked like the pictures. Someone said they are well constructed and I think they are OK, but my Banana Republic pair was way nicer inside. If the construction was AMAZIN, then I would give 5 stars. Besides the arch the inside is pretty utilitarian.There is a rubber smell but it doesn’t bother me, because thats what rubber smells like. It’s the same smell when you buy flip flops. I don’t know why you need to put your face in your boots anyway.So far so good! Approved!PS: These work well with UGG sheep insoles! I got a size 6M for my boots (size 8)
I love gnomes, so these boots were a must have. Always wear a US 8.5 in everything, but ordered a US 9 because I wanted a loose fit--they are perfect. Slip on/off like a breeze. The last you want is rubber boots that are tight, sweaty and a struggle to get off. These boots arrived quickly, look exactly as shown, are roomy in the calf without being floppy, and are comfy to walk in. And they are so cute they just make me smile. Worth the money!
