    Beautiful But Flawed Design

First and foremost these boots are beautiful. The leather is shiny and smooth and they boots seem to be well made and are hand crafted. However my two complaints are sizing and the ankle strap. You definitely need to measure your feet and consult the sizing guide they provide because they definitely run bigger than American sizes. Most importantly, be forewarned that the ankle strap of the boot is not at all flexible nor is it adjustable, which made it EXTREMELY DIFFICULTY TO both put on and remove the boots. My ankle would get stuck at the instep when putting on the boot to the point that I had to bear all my weight on one foot and also slam my foot on the ground to force my foot it into the boot. Removing the boot was even more difficult and I needed to have my partner pull on the boot while I braced my arms on a table and pulled away. Additionally, I had to do a combination of pointing and flexing my foot to get in and out of the boot. I think putting on and removing the boot would be much easier if the ankle strap was attached with a buckle.
