Used by 6yo grandson for swim lessons, trips to the pool, and for cruises.Purchased a 1/2 size larger ... he has ample room without being too large or loose on his foot. Should last through the summer provided he does not go through another growth spurt. This is his second pair over 2 summers. Good quality and comfortable. Easy for him to put on and take off. I personally like the way they look.
I got these while they were on sale for 7.98. I wish I knew what size I got (the inside of the shoe doesn't say & Amazon for some foolish reason doesn't say size details in purchased item details). My toddler wears a 7 but is moving into an 8, I think I got an 8 as it fits like an 8 on him. They were so worth the buy. He loves them, asks to wear them all the time, so clearly they're comfortable. They're good material and I think they're working out great for him. They're so cute, granted the turquoise is shimmery but I still count it as unisex, but others may not. If you don't like shimmery on a boy then maybe pass on these, but I and my toddler love them.
They are really cute and didn't fall apart after the first couple of uses like many of the other water shoes I've bought on here. I took away one star because they give my daughter pretty bad blisters.
I ordered a size 2, received them and they didn’t fit my step son who normally wears a size 2 shoes. So I did a return and ordered a size 3. They fit great and he says they are extremely comfy. I like that the insole of the shoe is cushioned but also seems like water would exit the shoes quickly for a quicker dry. We have had issues with the sold of his water shoes coming apart, which is why I purchased these hoping that the thicker toe would stop that from happening. No news yet though, as he is wearing them for the first time this week.
I have tried several brands of water shoes for my kids, and I am by far happiest with this one. This surprised me, because these appeared rather cheap and foreign-made, but we really love them. My kid is happy to put them on, they go on easily, and are comfortable enough that he will leave them on even when not playing in water. No blisters or sore spots. He wears them on jagged park wood chips, and they don't stick into the sole or poke his feet at all (which I thought they might due to the holes, or just due to the thin flexible soles b/c I've had that happen with cheap flip flops). Still, they are lightweight and flexible, and drain water really effectively. Because of the drainage system, they also amazingly don't collect sand inside - HUGE difference when my two kids play at the beach, the old shoes I am constantly banging out piles of sand, whereas these shoes have virtually no sand at all. Having so many fun colors to choose from is a bonus to get the kids excited about them. I already have the next size up in my cart so I can be ready for growing feet!
Bought size 5 for my 8 year old son to use at an indoor water park. Fit great and no complaints from my son. No quality issues.
Bought these for my grandson who was going whitewater rafting. They were true to size and kept his feet protected during the entire trip. Would purchase again.
