A great pair of shoes- must buy

Here is another great example of a pair of shoes purchased from Amazon that have turned out to be real winners- I was searching for new work shoes and thought I'd take a risk here, which was not much of a risk given the price. These shoes are surprisingly well made and comfortable. Best of all I receive regular compliments on the shoes- they're strikingly attractive without being garish. The tailored details really pop and they work well with a suit or more business casual attire as well. The fit was just a weeeee bit long, but I suspect if I had gone 11 or 10 instead of 10.5, it would have been worse. All in all, excellent shoes for the cost.I liked them so much I bought them in brown as well.

Italian style , Asian fit

You should probably order a size larger than what you normally wear. The quality was good and they looked great.

Great sub-$50 shoes, so shut up already

Own some of the finest shoes, mostly from Europe, and reviews for these shoes are just ridiculous. C'mon, these are low-cost dress shoes. Don't like wearing my expensive shoes in the rain, snow, etc...but for under $50 these are VERY comfortable and great looking styles. Just bought a third pair, all different colors and styles. Sprayed with a water repellant to last longer. Somebody commented "only" lasted 6 months...which is great for $50 men's shoes. Enjoy! Seller was easy to deal with, as first pair sizing was a challenge.

Came apart after wearing fewer than 15 times

I recommend strongly against purchasing these shoes.Cons. (1) Major durability problem: The sole of the left shoe has begun delaminating 40 days after receipt--convenient timing for the seller's 30 day return window. The left heel is also beginning to separate. I have worn these shoesat most two or three days per week since I received them, so fewer than fifteen actual days of wear with some days less than four hours. This failure seems to be the result of either poor adhesive or poor assembly process. (2) Although the stitching is real thread, the separation of layers of the sole allows me to see that each layer is stiched before assembly, meaning the layers are not held together by the stitches. They are cosmetic only.Pros. (1) The shoes look great. I have received several compliments on their appearance. (2) The soles provide very good support while remaining comfortable. In the future, I will not purchase this brand or anything else that I suspect might have been produced at the same factory. If the vendor were to make things right or demonstrate that my experience was the exception with a pair of shoes that lasts a couple of years instead of far less that two months, then I might have rated the product better.

Weird fit, cheap material, very cheap sole, painful upper heel

I cant speak as to longevity but I can say that aldo has def gone downhill quality wise. These looked pretty cool and unique but we're very weird cut, the heel pulled in too much at top and was very painful for the 30 seconds I had em on. They were very wide and too long even though I own several pair of there dress shoes I bought 15 years ago and they are all the same size. The material that has the floral pattern I thought was fabric (canvis) but its more like a thin synthetic print laminate...looks cool but very thin and cheap feeling looks like it would be peeling off within weeks if not days. The soles were very hard and uncomfortable, they also were very plain and cheap, like you could gouge your fingernail into the sole and it would rip.Ive bought 3 pairs this last month of aldos and I have had to return them all because of weird sizing, bad quality (bunched up fabric, glue showing, seams pulling, no padding, cheap material) its a shame because they used to be one of my favs
