Great shoe! Love ‘em! I work in the restuarant industry and have found these shoes to be very comfortable. They also have non-slip soles which are a great asset for going back and forth to the kitchen.
Can’t find these in stores anymore so I purchased here and nice quality as well.
I had a pair of these for around 2 years before the soles finally started falling apart. I work in fast food full time, so I'm not out doing anything crazy but I do get spills all over the shoes or strain them by standing weird. Anything you spill on these can either be wiped off or just kinda wiggled off, most the time it comes straight off and you'd never know. I use these shoes for walking in ice, snow, and wet floors and I've never slipped once which says a lot for me. The shoes are a little heavy on your feet, but to me it just helps me stay more balanced. It feels like I have a firm grip on the ground with these
(Short version: these shoes work well for long shifts in a slower fast food place, although may be a lil tight.)My old shoes had finally given up after a couple months of gluing and re-gluing them, to my coworkers horror. They convinced me to buy a new pair, so I scoured online until finding these; they seemed to be adequate. I order them, and reglue my old shoes one last time to use while waiting for these to arrive.They finally arrived before work one day, and I was excited to wear them that night. I tried them on prior to leaving. They were a little tighter than expected, but otherwise not a bad fit--a miracle, considering I have quite large feet.I show up to work and of course my coworkers notice immediately I have new, non-ragedy shoes. I don't have much to say about the appearance of these, as I don't think it really matters. They're shoes for doing a job. Which, they do a fine job of. I have yet to slip and fall in my work place aside from places where the shoes don't matter (ie. some genius decides to leave a huge grease spill in the middle of the floor without informing anyone, or someone spills a bunch of fries and decides not to clean them up.)It is important to note, however, that while I have used these shoes for 30+ hour work weeks for months without any slipping issues, I also work at a low-volume store where we try to keep the floor as non-slippery as possible. If you work at a grease soaked McDonald's, you may form a different opinion of these shoes than I have.All in all, these shoes have worked well for my specific needs, and I will probably buy another pair in the same size whenever I wear my current ones out
Fila made these sleek all black, no slip work shoe design strictly w/ working ppl in mind!! Shoe definitely feels comfy & well padded.These shoes run bigger than normal sneakers., I assume it's bc they wide foot? I wore them regardless to try out no matter how tight I tied them I felt the heel moving. Non slip sole worked better than any pair of NS shoes Ive ever owned...
I wear a size 10. I don't usually have to order wide sizes or anything like that. I don't even know if it would help ordering a size up. I'm a line cook. A lot of running back and forth, heavy lifting, bending over etc. These hurt my toes so badly I had to immediately turn around and order a different pair of shoes. My previous pair was Fila but it was a cloth outter material and they were great. These weren't loosening up or anything. By my 3rd shift I was limping. I didn't even want to order a bigger pair they were so bad for me. I hate writing negative reviews but these are a no for me.
These shoes fit perfectly in all the right places and very comfortable, but beware, they are very slippery on wet surfaces.
