**UPDATE!**I'm about 3.5 years into owning these and I can now say they're the best slippers I've ever had. My soles have worn through the fur on the balls of my feet and the soles and are now on just the skin, but they keep trucking. I no longer think they run small - I think they just have to mold to your feet a tad. I love that I still wear them daily in my basement office. I'm considering another pair simply because I'm worried I won't be able to buy them in the future. Absolutely recommend these 100%!!These are *very* fluffy and comfortable slippers. They actually look a little comic since they're so big and fluffy, but that just makes them comfortable. I'm super pleased with them because it's very hard for me to find slippers that keep my feet warm without making them sweat. These fit the bill nicely! I can wear them in my cold office in the basement and I don't feel like I have to keep taking them off to let my feet breathe. I'll credit that to the natural fibers.Two things about fit. First, the footbed is weirdly narrow and almost domed shape. I rolled my ankle the second step I took with these because my foot was kinda perched on top instead of nestled into the sole. They've gotten better with wear, but if you have weak ankles, it's something you might consider. The other thing is that they run strangely small. I wear a men's 12 and my wife wears a women's 8/9. These probably fit her better than they did me.So, I'd say these are generally very nice slippers. Buy them a bit large, and be careful with them until they're broken in since your heel rides pretty high. Other than that, they're very comfortable and warm but breathe well enough so that my feet don't overheat. That's a win in my book!

I read the reviews that these were running small, but I did not find them to be that way. I think the fur inside just temporary early makes it feel that way but once you wear them for a while that will subside. They're really soft. I would suggest to have used longer fur and a thicker spongier sole so that it feels more plush but I guess you get what you pay for.

Comfortable slippers; well made of high quality genuine shearling, thick & cozy...
These are lovely sheepskin slippers. I ordered the grey version for my husband in size 11. The color is a medium shade and looks great -- it goes well with jeans or anything else he might be wearing. He wears a size 10 in men's shoes but I sized up as several reviewers mentioned that these slippers run small. I do think he would have been fine in his regular size as it has been my experience that sheepskin slippers often feel snug at first and within a few wearings stretch out a bit and fit perfectly. These are very well made as expected for the Dearfoams brand. The 100% Australian sheepskin is of excellent quality and is very plush. The slippers are very comfortable and cushiony and they are easy to walk in as the sole is flexible. The sole has non-slip ridges on the bottom and is also robust enough for a quick trip out to the mailbox or out to the backyard to take care of the pets (well, probably not in the rain, that is). The slippers are warm and cozy right now (nearing the end of winter) but because of the thermoregulatory properties of the wool, they won't be too hot to wear when nicer weather gets here. These slippers arrived nestled in tissue paper in a nice box and would be a great gift. The current price for the pair I selected is $50.09 although other colors and sizes are different. I think that is a great price for well made slippers, especially since these are made of genuine shearling and feel durable enough to last for several years. .

Super soft, warm slippers that slide on. perfect.
I was looking for slippers EXACTLY like this! I wanted something slide on, that was soft and warm. These definitely check all those boxes!The shearling material that you see covering the outside of these slippers, also covers the full inside. (Including insole)It's super soft and a little fluffy, which is awesome but it's definitely warm. Since it's "fluffy" it does keep some space between your foot and the sides of the slipper. Having that space between your foot and the sides, does keep your foot cooler than some slippers I've tried.I've had slippers before that were not breathable and my feet used to just feel gross in them. These don't feel like that at least. I will add though that while sitting at my computer desk with these on, I do often "subconsciously" slide my feet out of them sometimes because my feet start getting too warm.I also have noticed the insoles have started to look a tad "matted" after wearing these every day for the past week or so. It isn't bad or anything though, and the top part of the slipper doesn't seem to have changed at all.The only other thing I want to mention is: I guess I must have sensitive feet, but sometimes when I slide these on for the first time in the morning, they almost kind of tickle my feet a little? It's not every time either, but every so often I notice it. (I'm not sure if this information will help anyone, but maybe someone who knows they have even more sensitive feet than the average person would find this relevant?)As long as you don't have super sensitive feet and you want slippers to keep your feet warm, I'd definitely recommend giving these a try!

These slippers are incredibly warm. I normally love everything dearfoams, but these particular slippers had some frays on the side of the sole and some tufts of wayward shearling sticking out straight out of the box. I just expected better craftsmanship, especially for this brand and this price point. They fit as expected and don’t slide off the foot. The shearing is comfortable and still breathes so they are not sweaty. I just wish they were quality controlled better for this price.

Nice to see the materials are genuine and high quality. Sizing is a bit of an issue, I wear a men’s 10 and had to order a size 12 in these to fit. 2-3 sizes up is where you need to be.
