Very plush, attractive, sturdy slippers. Nelson Bays with tighter, firmer construction, thicker shearling and much heavier outsoles. Don't get me wrong, the NBs were fine, even luxurious with proper sizing (>+1), but these will probably justify the higher price point assuming they hold up at least as well.

Here’s my big insight: size runs small. I normally wear a size 11, or even 11.5 in some shoes, and the 12s are almost a little tight on me. I would advise you to order a full size up, especially if you want to wear these with socks.Fuzzy: these have quite a bit of fuzz and cushion. Comfy, Soft. The little tufts of fur on the inside feel nice.Not itchy: I can wear these without socks and not feel itchy.Warm: I would definitely describe these as warm. After a few hours of wearing and house chores, my feet were getting hot and sweaty. These are definitely made for colder weather and colder houses.Construction: t he quality of construction seems really high to me. No concerns in the way these are made. Seem durable.Sole: the sole has nice traction. Not slippery at all. I feel quite stable walking around the house or going down the stairs.Not exactly slip on: I have trouble slipping my feet in these without my hands helping. I have to put them on more like regular shoes, and not like flip flops. Because the back comes up quite high around me heel, it does take some help from my hands to get them on.Tag in a weird place: in each shoe, there is a tag that sits right under the arch of my foot. These tags are easily removed, but still, a strange place for a tag. But again, easily to tear out.Overall, I think these are a tremendous value for the price. They are built well, soft, solid, and I expect them to last for years. My big caveat: order a full size bigger than you actually wear.
