I love the quality and comfort of my dearfoam fireside slippers but I’m OCD so I will not wear them out of the house, and they are purple, and they are slipper style, so I have been wanting a pair of black UGGs Tazz IIs BUT I have them in brown and they are cute, but not comfortable (and very expensive), and I thought why not experiment? So I found the black platform dearfoam fireside slippers and ordered the black UGG Tazz IIs and figured I would do a comparison for everyone who is interested in saving some money, but also (and more importantly) cares just as much about the comfort and the aesthetic.My feet hurt A LOT & ALL OF THE TIME! The UGGs didn’t do anything for me comfort wise & IMO the quality of the lining isn’t what it used to be. I still have my first pair from way back when and I’m so disappointed with the current UGGs. I put one on each foot (see pics) and WOW the dearfoams did not disappoint! For half the price! And the UGGs are cumbersome to get on, even after multiple wears, but the dearfoams are easy to slide your foot into so if you have trouble bending over to put shoes on or are always on the go like I am that is a huge plus.I will say that my bf said the UGGs are cuter, but I literally can’t tell the difference. (See picture with wide leg pants) I think the aesthetic is equivalent, it’s solely on preference of rocking an expensive name brand, or choosing better quality and more comfortable. I’m a 32 yr old tired AF mom. I’m choosing the dearfoams!

Runs big
They’re huge. I usually wear a size 7 in uggs and Ugg like shoes but the size six in these is still kind of big. I will keep them though because theyre very comfy and supportive.

Warmth, Soft and make me taller!
I really enjoy these slippers. I am the shortest person in the household with a son 6 feet 6 inches and I am 5 feet 5 inches. The house is built for very tall people and having the platform houseshoe helps me reach things I would not be able to reach. They are soft and fuzzy. I have a narrow to medium foot and I can wear them without socks. They are not super flexible so when I really need to reach the top shelves I can stand on my toes and reach further. I like the way they look and keep my feet warm. You can wear them outside but I do not.
