Very light and comfortable, for wide feet
These sandals are unbelievably light and comfortable. The craftsmanship is excellent. According to the product description, the top is made out of very soft “genuine suede,” which, if true, I appreciate so much. Nowadays, most of the affordable shoes are made out of synthetic materials, most of which have such an unpleasant odor that I can’t wear them. To get genuine suede sandals for just $25 seems to be too good to be true or just a great bargain. The product description also says that the sandals are “waterproof,” which makes me think that, if this was genuine suede, they would most likely not be waterproof. The footbed is made out of a memory-foam cork material, which is very light and pliable. It’s covered with a suede-type finish that feels very velvety and keeps my feet from sliding around. The footbed also provides enough arch support and feels very comfortable. The bottoms are made out of a nonslip rubber material with deep groves all over that provide good traction even when walking on gravel or uneven terrain.Note: These sandals are designed for wide feet. I have narrow feet and wear U.S. Size 8 shoes. These sandals in Size 8 feet me well, except they are a bit too wide. However, the width doesn’t seem to be a problem because the sandals have buckles that help tighten up the straps, so I don’t have any problems walking in these sandals.Overall, I like these sandals a lot and would highly recommend them. Although, I cannot attest that they are made out of a really genuine suede, I don’t think it matters much, at least for me, because they are just so comfortable and such a great value for $25.
