Perfect for hiking: Extremely wide toe box so your feet are not pinched as you go up and down rocks; comfortable cushioning; can be laced very tight or loose, as you like; and durable traction on the bottom to minimize slipping. I bought these to go hiking in the red rocks in the desert and they did not disappoint. Styling is not garish, so they can also be worn for travel or casual dining. Excellent value for the price.
I had ordered a different pair of FitVille shoes that were perfectly acceptable, just a little on the stiff side and somewhat heavy. When I ordered these lightweight shoes, I ordered them because of the wide toe box they advertised and that they are lightweight. I am 78 years old and have fat feet. Although I don't run, I do walk on a treadmill 3 miles a day. These are by far the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn for walking. My toes have plenty of room to stretch out in and the shoes are very lightweight. I will not hesitate to order these shoes again.
Fits perfect, but they don't last very long, the bottom of the shoe deteriorates and is worn down after 6 months if you wear them every day
Well made, water resistant with good traction and little evident ware. Best to get a size larger than you measure to allow toes room for the turned up rubber front. The loop at the heel aids easy entry. The sole is flexible and adequate arch support. This is a very good value.
Edit 2 months later: Shoe still feels great, comfortable, perfect size. But the tread is already starting to wear through, in the toe especially. Not gonna buy again.Recently started focusing on my fitness, been starting to up from walking to running and desperately needed some new shoes. I got these yesterdays, tossed them on for my first walk/run and my first impression was they were tight, but all new shoes are. I laced them up comfortably and hit the road, about half way through my normal route they started to feel great, the pain i've been feeling in my shins was less than usual. Definitely ordering another pair.
