Warm Gortex biking shoes
I bought these because I wanted to cycle in winter time here in NJ. I needed something that didn't let air in, but let air out. These are working our perfectly so far. At about -7C your foot is not warm, but it won't freeze, you'll be able to function and focus on riding the bike. The size is true, and is as described. I have another set of Five Ten shoes but for summer riding, and these grip the pedal as good, and your foot won't slip on flats. They have a top that hugs the ankles and has velcro closing, but this just adds to the looks. Style is very timely, and they look very good. Easy to clean as well.

My new wet weather booty for PNW winter riding.
Started wearing these when the wet weather showed up in the PNW last fall. Have worn them on every ride in the pouring rain and muddy trails. I'm guessing around 40 plus rides on them this winter and they are my go to booty for now. No leaks yet and I've ridden in the crap. If they hold up for another season I'll definitely get another pair. Wish the laces were waxed as they come undone easily if you don't really cinch them. I went with a 1/2 size bigger as I wear pretty thick socks in the winter but I kinda wish I just went with my normal size as they seem to run a hair large.
