These wedding shoes are so comfortable. They have a good amount of padding on the insole. On the inside heel of the shoe, there is protection to keep the shoe from rubbing the back of the heel. They are for a wide width, and I did not have any problem; they gave me just the right amount of width. There is a good thickness to the bottom of the shoe, as well as having an anti-skid grid built onto the bottom. I feel safer walking onto a slick surface because the bottom has traction. The exterior of the shoe is made of mesh with small holes, which allows your feet to breathe and not become sweaty. The material is a durable mesh that feels of good quality. These wedding shoes are perfect with or without stockings or socks. A lot of the wedding style of shoes, also known as the slip-on shoe, will go with any style of clothing. You will be able to wear these shoes with jeans, a dress, or even shorts. They make them in a variety of colors. They have a very small heel, which makes them a style that would be perfect for work or just any everyday activity. Just slip on and go. This shoe will make you appear as if you have an expensive shoe on. I have seen a lot of shoes in this style, and the sides of the shoes end up bowing out. With this shoe, you will not experience that, as the material is more durable. I was going for this style of shoe to wear with my dresses for church. I was paralyzed from Guillian-Barré Syndrome, and I have a hard time finding a shoe that will fit my foot and give me the comfort and support that this shoe does. I cannot wear pumps, and this shoe has just the right size of heel on it that I feel confident in the ability to wear them without worrying about falling. They would be a great shoe for all ages. The only thing I would suggest is possibly having your foot measured prior to buying. I normally wear a size 8 in Tennis shoes, and I purchased an 8 in these shoes, and it does have about 1/2 in of extra width. I did return one pair and downsized to a 7.5. I will be recommending these shoes to all my female friends and family members.
