Shoe piping (edging) is fragile

After an exhaustive search for a comfortable shoe I found these Spring Step shoes in cobalt blue with great reviews. I received them on Feb. 2025 and found them to be as comfortable as reported by previous reviewers. Yesterday (3/15/25) I noticed the front tip piping was coming off and went to return them. Although within 30 days Spring Step shoes does not accept worn shoes. I'm stuck with unwearable shoes. Sad and frustrated.
