new love for life-long flip-flop wearer
I ordered these flip-flops at first because I wanted the bumps to help as a non-slip footbed (I am in and out of pool/ocean swimming and I hate when my wet foot slips on slick sandal footbeds) ...the bumps did feel a bit hard--just kind of an unusual bumpy pressure that I suppose could be uncomfortable if you have very tender or especially sensitive feet, but I didn't find them uncomfortable at all even at first, just unusual feeling. THEN by the 2nd or 3rd time I wore them, I was completely comfortable with them, still could feel the bumps if I thought about them but in a very good way, I quickly came to really enjoy the feeling, almost like accupressure massage for your feet as you walk around...now I am completely addicted and back on Amazon to buy 3 more pairs in different colors. The straps are comfortable, never had a single rub spot or anything even from the start, and the sandal is very well made. I wanted to order the black/black but it is out of stock in my 9/10 (39/40). I hope Amazon continues to carry and will be watching to see if they restock the sold out colors (especially black/black or black/haze). *Fit is maybe a bit small...I wear a size nine medium in most shoes/sandals or occasionally 9 1/2 in shoes/sandals that run narrow (I wear flip-flops all year so my foot spread is a bit wider across the ball of my foot) and the 9/10 (39/40) Women's slim fit is just right for me but running almost a bit small (my foot is still completely within the footbed, no toes hanging over the edge & my heel isn't slipping off the back, but the margin is pretty close. Try them & you will love them!!

Great for pool and short walks.
I always wear my flip/flops a half size larger to make sure toes and heels never hang off the edge. So that being said, they fit as expected. Initially, the "bumps" were not comfortable. But I took their advice and have been wearing them for a few hours each day. And as advertised, they actually feel great. The reason I only gave them 4 stars, is because I like my flips to have thicker soles for walking any distances or through extremely hot parking lots in the summer. I edited this today, May 18 2017. I would like to say these are wonderful. My preferred sandal for standing. even more comfortable than my memory foam sandals in a different brand. They get better with time. Still wish they were a little thicker. Buying a second pair today.

Update: I persisted in wearing them and they are now comfy. The bubbles or bumps in the sandal are now broken-in. Finally! No more pain and yes they do massage your footbottom. Mine has actually become softer. I enjoy them now. Don't think they've helped with any swelling though but i haven't worn them for hours at a time to see if they would. I would recommend them but only if you'll tough out the pain until it breaks-in.Original review: Listen my mom got this as a gift because of all the health benefits. I'm overweight, have swelling. So i said let me give them a try. It's been about a week now and I'm still trying them. Each bubble feels like a leggo you stepped on barefoot. Yup. That's the pain i experienced.Day 1- first 10 minutes. "Oh, they feel weird but great!" 15 min- "Wow. Okay. Kinda hurts" 25 min- "My feet, my feet!"- had to sit down.Day 2- 2 mins on -"Oh my goodness, why are these hurting so much" Mom "you've got to break them in." 10 min- I'm hopping as i walk 4 ft away. I sit down and look at my footbottom and they are ruby red with deep imprints of the bubbles. Super tender. Bite lip and with anxiety put slippers back on 5 mins "i feel like I'm walking on gravel barefoot." 20 min- "I cant do this anymore." Struggles to take every step.Day 3- "Ouch! No. Aye! " mom- "What's the matter?" Me- "They hurt so bad. My feet are so raw." Mom-" Are they helping with swelling?" Me"No." Mom-"so don't bother to wear them." 30 min- "I'm giving them a try mom because i appreciate you bought them."Day 4&5 - pep talks everytime i am about to put them on.Day 6- left foot is doing way better than the right. Right is still painful with each step.Moral- these slippers are painful to wear and the other reviewers are not joking BUT they do feel okayish after some time. Would i buy again? I don't think so.

They Don't Fit!!!
So disappointed!! I wear a 7.5-8 so I ordered the 7-8. They are WAY too short!!!! I asked other customers & even measured my foot to make sure they would fit. Idk if they were mislabeled or what but they definitely don't fit me :( I usually buy Nike sandals or slides but they aren't made as well as they use to be. I wanted something with good support & took a chance on this brand. They're pretty expensive for flip-flops & I'm on a fixed income so it's pretty inconvenient that I'll have to pay to return them & wait for who knows how long for a refund.

They are comfortable ....BUT!
I love these "bubble (bumps" flip flops) and had been ordering them from a company in Australia. I was happy to see them on Amazon & promptly ordered a pair. I ordered my normal size 9 and when they arrived, I noticed the tag said 8 1/2 - 9. They fit like a size 7. My toes hung over the edge as did my heel. The toe post was fine as the width. The bumps are great and really massage your feet. I had to return because of the size. I think I will go back to my previous vendor for these flip flops.

They are good shower shoes that helped your feet to dry by allowing water to move away from the foot and allowing air to move in the little chambers of the texture pattern. And they massage the feet as you walk. When you first put these on, they feel for a minute like maybe you made a mistake and shouldn't have bought them. But after a little while of walking in them, they feel good.
