Saw a commercial for these during a recent hospital stay with my youngest. Bought them as a surprise for when he came home. He LOVES them! The ears flop up and down every time he walks. He's 5, wears little kids size 1 shoe. These do run a little small and the soles are thick, so the child needs to have a good grasp of walking.

The bottom is a little hard

These really are pretty but you have to press down kind of hard for the ears to come up. My daughter is 9 so she knew. I would think a 3-4 year old would have a hard time stepping just right on them. My 9 year old said that the bottom is kind of hard for that reason. They run small so u would size up.
