Comfortable sandals

These are my favorite sandals! I have been buying these for over 12 years that's how awesome and comfortable these are. The price is usually around $25 and worth every dang penny. We go to Disney a lot and I can wear these comfortably all day, the foam is nice and soft an the bottoms have a good grip on them.

Decent padded flip flops

I really miss my original old style thick, very cushy eggshell footbed Flojos that I wore for years. I kept gluing them together to be able to keep wearing them, while I searched to find another exact pair like them. I finally concluded that this old style Flojos were no longer made. So I went with these Flojos Women's Blair 2.0 Flip-Flop. While they are not as cushy and thick as the ones I used to own, they are the next best thing. They do have an eggshell footbed that I've now come accustomed to wearing, so are fairly comfortable for me. I typically wear a size 9-1/2 and, since these only come in whole sizes, I ordered a size 10, so that I can have extra room for when my feet swell in the summer, and to protect my toes from any stubbing. There is no actual arch support built in. But, the footbed is cushiony enough that I do not experience any major lack of support while wearing and walking in them. I wanted them to be a little more dressy, so I added some self-adhesive rhinestone strips to them. (My photo shows them with two different size width strips. I opted to go with the wider strip on both sandals.) Now, they're my favorite flip flops.

Shoe didn’t break but my foot did

I love these flip flops. They have truly stood thru the test of time with standard use. And even this week, they stood up against non-standard use. Let me explain.These flip flops are my go-to footwear anytime I need something on my feet but it doesn’t matter what I pick: a walk to the mailbox, going to the pool, or for a road trip. As we’re approaching the summer weather now, I took my family to the community pool on Memorial Day.My 5-year old decided soon after arrival that she needed to use the bathroom (bc of course she did). This was our first visit to the pool for the season,So it’s been 9 months since we last visited. She assured me she knew where the bathroom was though, and I let her go on her own. The girls bathroom was around the corner on the back of the building. She’d need to pass the boys bathroom on the side of the building to reach her destination.After a while, she hadn’t returned, so I set out to check on her.It appeared they must’ve been working on cleaning the boys bathroom: there was a mop cart and thick bathroom floor mat on the sidewalk outside the boys bathroom.And my left flip flop- the invincible flojo shoe- found that mat. The lip of the flip flop met the edge of the mat, to be precise. And didn’t let go.As my weight continued to move forward (thanks, momentum), my brain assumed the mat would let go of the shoe, or the thong of the shoe would break. I would have preferred either of those options.But alas, the mat and shoe were destined to be together, and the thong refused to break. As I fell to my embarrassing fate, a bad word escaped me (which my 7 year old later asked about), my right knee broke my fall on the concrete sidewalk next to the mat.Two days later, I went to urgent care due to continued bruising and discomfort when trying to walk on my left foot and confirmed that I had in fact broken my second toe.So- without any hesitation- I can personally guarantee that these shoes are WELL MADE, and the thong will NEVER BREAK- even if you want it to.Oh- and my daughter hadn’t even found the correct bathroom. She mistakenly used the boys bathroom. If I had known that, this whole situation would’ve been avoided.
