Comfortable, safe, subtle
I have never previously owned a pair of legitimate steel toes, our work is now requiring them so I went onto Amazon to see what I could find and O M G. These are wonderful, I got a 13 Extra Wide (for a normal size 13 foot) and they’re super comfy and I don’t even feel like I’m wearing steel toes.During the first week of breaking them in it did give me a blister on the back of my foot but 1 month later that issue has corrected itself and I couldn’t have been happier with the choice I’ve made.I work in a machine shop with concrete and epoxy floors and these shoes have allowed me to work at the same pace with almost the same comfort as the hey dudes that I was wearing to work daily but with the added bonus that next time I drop a 25 pound block of metal on my foot it won’t break my foot. They have yet to start sliding on oil and coolant and trust me I’ve been putting them to the test.All in all, 2 months in this is absolutely a worth it purchase for the price.——————Will update if they start to fall apart, but for now 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️6+ Month Update—————————The inside of the shoes have given out before the outside, my souls of the shoes are tore to shreds and one of my “steel” toes can come straight out the shoe, I still wear them every day and they still comfortable at work and they don’t look like they’re busted on the outside (aside from marks that came from the steel toes saving my feet)Still 5⭐️

Reasonably Styled, and yet....
While a bit more stylish than the Reebok alternative to a dress shoe that'll keep your toes safe, would suggest a FULL size larger. The safety area of the shoe conflicted with normal flex patterns of the foot. not very comfortable for long periods.Felt bouncy as well.More "fashionable" than the Reeboks I tried, but, still not built for a full day of standing or walking.

Foul smell
The shoe has foul odor after wearing for 2 months. It could be due to the tanning process or the leather itself.First, I thought it's my feet. I tried using different foot odor powder and spray, the shoe odor persist. I even buy a new white socks, I put a shoe ball odorizer overnight and it did not work.Two years ago, I bought the same Florsheim Bayside Steel toe slip in from a Boot truck that comes to our plant and the color is tan but it did not give me a foul odor like the black one I got now. This year the Boot truck has no stock of a black color so I decided to get it from Amazon since I really like the fit and design of this Florsheim.I wear again my old safety boots-H&H, Caterpillar, Hvtest and NB all of them have no foul odor on my feet after using.Any suggestion on how to get rid this foul odor?Thanks!
