The kid version definitely values comfort over looks.Though it is made out of leather, its a thinner leather than adult dress shoes (sort of like a walletlike material). Theres more stretch (elastic band) that it does not require breaking in, and the sole is more simple and no heel, overall more round and it gives a cute youthful lookBeen wearing this with no socks, just as a casual everyday shoe that looks a lot nicer than sandals.Please order the adult one if you are looking for a more traditional mens dress shoe style.

Poor Quality - Stitching Unraveled After Just Three Wears

I was really disappointed with the quality of these Florsheim Jasper Driver Jr. shoes. My son only wore them three times, and the stitching is already unraveling. For the price, I expected much better durability. They look great out of the box, but the poor craftsmanship is a huge letdown. Definitely not the quality I expected from Florsheim. I would not recommend these shoes if you're looking for something that will last more than a few wears.

They are great with good quality. My son 8 y/o loves them because they are also comfortable. This particular runs short and really narrow. Blue Florsheim 13 (true to size), Brown 13 1/2. I need to replace them.
