Comfortable, Well Made, Fits Well
I wear a 4E width in New Balance and Asics athletic shoes and a Wide of the same size with my Cole Haan dress shoes. These Florsheim's fit almost exactly the same as my Cole Haan's. The Florsheim's might even be a little bit taller in the toe box.Cushioning is very similar to a Cole Haan Zero Grand as well. These Florsheim loafers have a nice lightly padded tongue, and nice crescent of padding around the top of the heel to cushion the Achilles tendon. The leather upper is good quality, and the stitching and is clean and consistent.Styling is a little more orthopedic / old man shoe than a Cole Haan, but they still look pretty good. Overall, I think they're a good option to add to add to a business casual wardrobe. I'll definitely be cross shopping Florsheim with other cushioned sole dress shoe brands now.

Look like they are well constructed
Florsheim shoes are regarded as a quality shoe.They appear to be well constructed not just glued together. I have reservations with the sole being split for flexibility as being a weak spot and not holding up without splitting. They fit well and are very comfortable right out of the box. I hope that Quality and Florsheim are still synonymous.

Shoe marked WIDE but was actually narrow.
I ordered the shoes in a wide size but I received a pair that was physically narrow, even though it was marked wide. I guess there may have been a mix up in the plant and QC missed it. Come on Florsheim, I expect better than that from your typical high quality work. Please correct this matter at your plant. You're one of the few shoe companies that make wide sized shoes.
