My husband ordered this shoe and said that it's very hard to find a "B" width, so this very well-made shoe was a great find. After wearing it indoors for several days, it kind of "adjusted" to his feet (it rubbed a little at first), and provided a comfortable fit. The price was very reasonable.
I like this style because they have the 11.5 narrow size.
Through the years, I have always loved having a pair of penny loafer in my wardrobe of shoes and have tried all different brands. In my opinion, Florsheim makes the best penny Loafer ( the Berkley Penny Loafer Burgundy ) and as long as they make them, I will always have a pair in my closet. They are extremely well made, and last forever. I always have a brand pair in case it's time to retire the old pair.
Fit smaller than I normally wear.
I needed new leather soled shoes to dance with and the stores don't seem to carry leather soles anymore. I've loved Florsheim shoes in the past and decided to buy these from Amazon. I opened the box and put them on and was wearing the most comfortable shoes I had ever owned. I wore them around for a few hours which only confirmed my first impression. I was completely confident when I wore them to a 1950's Sock Hop two days later and was not disappointed. I'd recommend these to everyone who wants leather soles. They day after the dance, I ordered two more pairs of Flosheim shoes with regular soles for every day ware: a white pair for shorts and a black pair for long pants.
Worn Florsheim since I was a teenager...some 40+ years....have a pair that has lasted some 20+ years.....and unlike so many other brands the sizing and the leather and the workmanship are still excellent. The penny loafers are still chic and stylish and superb for casual dress,
Unbelievably poor quality for Florsheim. These are costume shoes that should cost $15. They look and feel like plastic. Shocked!
