The show lace grommets broke on my shoes

I love the fit of the shoe, which is standard for Florsheim, but the lace grommets started breaking the first time I wore them. After having them for a month, half the grommets are broken. The other surprising aspect to the shoe is the leather is very stiff. Outside of the grommets and the stiff leather, the shoes are good.

Nice offering of a zippered boot, but it misses the mark

The zipper is great. The overall fit is simply weird. I don't have skinny ankles, I'd say they're athletic, but the boot is very loose around the ankles. The wide part of the boot isn't wide enough in the middle of the foot/arch area, but the toe box is plenty big. My foot moves around a lot within the boot, making for a sloppy fit and a lot of squeaking when walking. But any smaller of a boot and I'd have to remove the laces two eyelets just to get it on, despite the zipper.
