Very nice looking shoe for formal to casual dress.

This is a very nice looking shoe. It fits really snug and does not pinch anywhere. Well made. However the sole is rather thin, so you can't use it everday. It is definately not for someone that is on their feet all day. No room for an orthopedic insole either. It is perfect for inportant meetings, conferences, parties, or events.

I have purchased these shoes, the same pair for two years now. Excllent look, great quality, and comfortable. I work at a huge bank, and the shoe is great for the business... banking environment. For LONG HOURS, if it's late you can kick'em off then get them back on quickly. Recommend you get it shoe shined be a profesisonal at least once a month to make 'em last. Worth it! The color is great for brown or tan suits. When the shoe arrived it was a tad tight, but a day with the shoe tree took care of that. I have an wide bridge and this fit just fine. The texture of the leather is very elegant.Like most Florsheims, these are extremely comfortable after stretching. Break in is minimal. The upper is soft leather all around. The sole is good leather and perfectly flexible out of the box. This shoe has no heel pinch for me. Some shoes don't quite come up high enough in back and pinch me, but not this one.A great investment if you want to look good.

Different styles run different sizes

this shoe was a replacement for a different style but same mfg. Original was 13 w this was 12w and it was as large or larger than the 13w. disappointed that same mfg. has such a size difference in different styles.Will say that Florsheim is a great quality dress shoe and also available in wide and x-wide sizes.
