very good work shoe

I had been looking for a steel toe, triple E, size 13 work shoe which goes on easy and comes off easy all summer. The selection among many mail order catalogs which featured work shoes were deemed useless. This shoe took me all the way through harvest. It endured mud, oil, and cow manure and has kept its integrity as a solid work shoe. The shoe is also comfortable to wear and feels good to walk in. The only negative was the price, they were expensive, but to get quality I guess you have to pay up. I was also impressed by the delivery. I ordered them on Monday morning and got them the next day.Dan

Comfortable but did not last

Purchased in late December 2024. I Bought them for Security work, mostly office duty. In May 2025 I noticed the sole on my left boot was starting to separate from boot. Late June 2025 major separation of the sole. The boots were comfortable and were easy/ quick on and off.

Good Shoe...BUT....

This shoe is good...not great..but good. I wear it all day from site to site. WARNING.....the top of the shoe where the meta gaurd is, is narrow. so I suggest purchasing a slightly larger/wider size only because of this. This shoe will take a couple of weeks to break in (if using everyday) and the top will expand...so do not puchase an overly larger size...just something a little wider. I am also not sure of the "No Slip" aspect of this shoe...on a wet smooth tile surface or light sprinkle oil smooth concrete surface, you WILL slip and fall... But overall a very good shoe takes a lot hard work, the stiching is good and has not torn and the shoe is a few months old already

Painful and poorly constructed for expensive shoes.

Slip on shoes that are very difficult to get on your foot. When you finally pull hard enough to do so you'll notice the inside of the shoe tongue feels lumpy and hard on the top of your foot, the hard edge of the boot's opening rubs on the front of you leg at ankle height. There is very little cushion from the insoles, hard bottom. Everything about these boots hurt. If you were able to wear them for a full day you would certainly suffer from blisters, cuts, bruising, and generally sore feet. I sent these back the same night I tried them on. Unbelievable that they would try to pass these off as expensive quality work boots, absolute garbage.

Hoping they break in

Large loop front and back catches your pants leg so pants legs don't fall over the shoe; they tend to roll up and bunch on the loops. Reasonably comfortable and lighter than my previous boots. Only problem I have is my big toe rubs the edge of the steel toe. It's not intolerable and I'm hoping it gets better with more wear. Rather snug around the ankle but that seems to be getting better with wear. I bought the 11 EEE since I have a wide foot and the EEE width is plenty wide with room to spare. I'll probably invest in some better insoles at some point.
