I just returned from 10 days hiking around the Mighty 5 in Utah (National Parks) and multiple State parks in Nevada. These were super comfortable, kept my feet warm and dry on snow covered trails and had amazing traction. I never slipped!Can't rave enough about these boots!
I ordered these and Sorels, and kept these. They are super comfortable, held up walking through water, and were warm during cold temps and breathable during warmer temps. They are surprisingly lightweight too. I did order a 1/2 size up, thinking I'd wear them with thicker socks for 4-wheeling, but I didn't need the thick socks, and the 1/2 size up wasn't too big. I do think my regular size would have been fine, but glad I ordered up because I plan to wear them in winter after snowmobiling rides too!
After having neuroma excision surgery on both feet, my feet are very picky on what shoes are comfortable. I really like these because of how lightweight and flexible they are, plus they have the aesthetic of a boot while wearing like a sneaker. I got these for wearing all day as an art vendor, for music festivals, concerts, and city adventures. They've been great for that, but I can't say how they'd be on the trail. The stock insole isn't great but it's removable and my Superfeet purples fit perfectly in. I disagree with the review saying they were clunky, they are actually pretty slim looking for a boot and extremely lightweight. They'll need a little time to break in and form to my foot shape, but that's expected. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone with wide feet, I'm technically not wide but find that it's more comfortable, but if these boots were even a hair more narrow they would have been returned. Overall I'm very happy with these for the long days they've already carried me through and for the adventures yet to come.
I love the look and feel of these boots but the rubber sole on the right boot is starting to split as pictured. Purchased these in November 2024 and haven’t even done actual hiking in them. Just job site visits but mostly just have worn them on cold days so they aren’t being worn daily. I bought these as they are also sold by L.L. Bean.
My 3rd pair and I have a fourth lower version, why? Because they are light weight, waterproof, very nice leather,I love the look and they are comfortable right out of the box. My new favorite brand! I watch for deals due to the price!!!!UPDATE: I’ve had to re-glue the outer sole on the heels of 2 pairs, only took off 1 star because it was an easy fix.
Shoes are very tight fitting even though I got the right size… my feet fall asleep after wearing them for a few hours. The fist time I wore them I got blisters on both feet. Was very disappointed with this purchase.
Read good reviews on these. Purchased for a trip to Iceland. Kept my feet warm and definitely waterproof. Unfortunately, after only 9 days of wearing, all support is gone. I can feel the ground under my feet and the shoes rolling in with every step.
